Ruby's POV
Alex was really scary when we were running it was like he wasn't being himself. Maybe it was just his anxiety? But once we got to Wellsberg we looked for an inn. This was one of the only towns in Arizona that still run and aren't abandoned. We look for Hampton Inn. As we look I start to feel like we have a chance at life like normal. Until I see the sentinel pass by with big guns and armor. I start to feel uncomfortable and somehow Alex notices so he picks up pace. We finally reached Hampton inn. The only worker was an old lady. We walk to the counter. "Oh well hello kids where are your parents?" She asked. Alex glosses over the question. "We need a room for two" Alex replies. She hands us the keys. "On the house if you need anything just call for Gretchen and I'll be right over" Finally we get to rest. I lie down on the bed. It's the first time in three years I've slept on a proper bed. I hear Alex talking to himself I try to tell him to stop but I slowly drift off into a world of my dreams.
