Chasing life(Out of time)

Chapter 1

Authors note: This is my first story if you don't find it interesting at first don't give up I promise it will get more  interesting... Any of the events that happen or people with the same name is totally by coincidence .

Christie's pov:
I ran as the guns rang through the forest if they caught me I would surly die. Alex and Rin ran aside me I couldn't let them be caught too. The snow on the ground wasn't making it any easier to run,it was ankle deep and soaked my sneakers through and through .I hurried them to one of the mountains caves that walled us in and said"get in, they won't find you here but stay quiet I'll lead them away." Alex refused to let go of my sleeve and Rin was silently weeping "But what if they catch you Christie I don't want to be alone again." I wanted to stay with them and hold my little brother and sister in my arms tell them it was going to be ok but I knew we would all get caught that way "I promise I will come back ,just hide okay" ,it hurt me to lie to them we all knew I wasn't coming back but he let go anyway and nodded, "and you have your sister "I nodded back to them and backed away covering our tracks to the cave as best I could. Another gunshot. I ran but heard their  footsteps behind me,my heart humming in my chest I couldn't go for much longer not with being so cold from my jacket being replaced with a thin sweater. I could almost hear there guns clinging against there chests and I could definitely hear their voices screaming for me over and over then I did just about the worst thing I could... I tripped. They encircled me I was trapped their was no use fighting but I did anyway as one of the men grabbed my arms holding me in place . A thin woman walked in between the soldiers took a good look at me and said" You wouldn't have been able to run forever" just as she pulled out her own gun and shot me through my head.

I sat up in bed so fast body shaking covered in sweat from the vivid dream I had . The yellow walls of my room shook and convulsed before standing still and still I didn't know if it was an illusion so I blinked my eyes . The room still stood perfectly motionless and I relaxed I should have known it was a dream but it was so vivid just like yesterday night and the night before that, this dream was starting to freak me out it was reoccurring over and over for the past 2 weeks. But I wouldn't worry about it too much I needed to fall back asleep I had a test tomorrow and it was 3:40 or so the clock on my bedside table said but it felt later than that. So I walked into the kitchen down the hallway and looked on the oven clock "nope, it's definitely 3:40" I mumbled my tattoo on my wrist clearly stated I would die in 2days on the 17th I was really worried I knew I would have to die someday obviously I didn't know it would come so soon, I just hoped the twins knew I loved them and stayed good for mom.On the way back to my room I checked on Alex and Rin ,asleep and snoring softly I was glad my 11 year old siblings were okay. So I went back to bed hoping the dream wouldn't go on or start again unfortunately I wasn't that lucky.
