Chapter 3

*Ziva's POV*

We enter autopsy with the familer shoosh of the automatic doors Ducky and Jimmy turn around at the sound of the doors "Ziva Hello my dear" Ducky says as he sees my "And who is this little darling" he questions as he sees Talia. Talia turns slighty looks around before hiding in my neck her curly hair hiding her face i smile slightly at her shyness. "This is Talia Ayla David and shes my daughter" i say. They both frown slightly, Ducky gets over it first "I assume that you had a good reason for not telling us" Ducky says as he walks over to us "I do but unfortunately i do not think anyones going to listen" i sigh at the thought of my friends no my family being angry with me Ducky looks at me for a while before saying " Jimmy why dont you play with Talia for a bit while me and Ziva talk"

"Sure doc" Jimmy says smiling he walks over and reachs out for Talia who shrinks away i gently coaxs her out "Sweetie Jimmys going to play soldiers with you" i say to her she looks at me then at Jimmy and asks him "We playing army right"

"Yep definitly" he repiles smiling . Talia reachs out for him i sigh in relief and pass her over to him, i go into her bag and give Jimmy her toy soldiers and G.I Joe doll, they walk over to the other side of the room which is filled with Talias laughter and fake gun sounds in minutes. Me and Ducky sit at his desk he looks at me and then says "Your reasons"

"At first i did not tell you all because i knew i could not keep her i could do that to any child i was going to give her up to protect her because i love her but then i could not do it when i saw her i know it was selfish but i just couldnt" i began Ducky nodded before saying "Its not selfish to want to keep your child, And after you knew you were keeping her why didnt you tell us?" He questions "Because of my father i was scared for myself and my child, if he found out he would try and take us back to Israel and train Talia to be Mossard. I could not let that happen to my child, i could not let that man that cruel man make my beautiful, innocent, happy little girl into a cruel, heartless assassin i just could not let that happen I am sorry i did not tell you all but that does not mean i would change anything" i finsh Ducky stay quite thinking for a long time before he says "I dont agree with what you did but i understand it you had to protect your child. How old is Talia anyways" he asks "Talias 3 and a 1/2" i answer he nods "IMA, IMA" Tali yells running over "Guess what?" she asks smiling happily "What sweetheart" i ask she smiles and says "I won ima i won. didnt i jimmy"

"Yep you sure did"Jimmy repiles

"Thats great hunny" i say while i put her toys away "Where we going now ima" Tali questions me "Were going to meet Abby sweetie" i answer i pick Tali up, we both say GoodBye to Ducky and Jimmy and start to walk to Abby's lab before were stopped by jimmy yell "Wait Ziva" i stop turn around and see Jimmy running towards us holding Talia's dog "Thank you so much Jimmy if that had gone missing all hell break loose" i say and smile softly at him. He passes it to Talia who smiles and says "Tank you jimmy"

"Its alright Tali I'll see you later bye" he says "Bye Bye" Talia says waving at him. We carry on and Walk into Abby's Lab.
