Reggie

The storm

I tucked my paws under my tail and watched Soxy jump and play in the rain. It made me happy.
"Bro! Come on!"
Soxy yelled running onto the road. I stepped out and sat on the drive way as he enjoyed himself.
Then I saw a light in the distance and it was coming closer.
"Soxy watch out!"
It was to late I watched with my own eyes as a car slammed straight into him. Blood splashing onto the vehicle and the body smashing to the floor. I started to tear up u saw his bloody fur soaking the road. I prodded him.
"Soxy are you okay please be okay I'm right here please please be okay!"
He let out a faint purr.
"You where the best bro ever look after Maddy and Em..."
His breathing grew shallow before it disappeared then I saw the human get out of its car and the kits mother walked out. I was scared. I ran of down the street my fur dripping as the roaring wind blew on. It can't be true this can't be real! The storm just blasted on as I rested beneath a small yellow car parked in a drive way. My heart was broken I had no more purpose. I hid my face under my paws as I drifted into a deep sleep.
I awoke to calling. "Reggie! Reggie come out its Em!" I hesitantly jumped out from under the car and into my owners arms. "Im so sorry Reggie i am so sorry!" She hugged me tight.
I walked into the small lounge room that I still didn't like everything seemed dull now that Soxy was gone. Taylor and J came up to me.
"Hey were sorry we really are.."
They said in unison. I nodded. I just wanted to be alone away from everything. Maddy walked into the lounge room Maddy looked only about 8 so she struggled to pronounce everything correctly.
"Dear Soxy I love so much you where the best cat I ever had love your mum Maddy."
Taylor and J barked happily wagging there tails. Thanks for being the best brother..
