Shawn's POV
I stand in front of my mirror, fixing my hair. I'm wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, a grey t shirt, and my black converse. I look at myself once more and then my phone to check the time. It's currently 5:20. Hannah lives exactly 10 minutes away so I head downstairs and run into my mom.
"Hey mom, I'm going over to Hannah's place for dinner with her parents. I'll bring her here afterwards." I smile.
"Okay sweetie! I'm so excited to meet this girl of yours!" She glows with excitement.
I hug her before heading out the door to my jeep. I hop in and make my way to Hannah's. I finally pull up and walk up to her door, I take a deep breath before knocking. I see a figure rushing down the stairs and open the door, it's Hannah. I smile when I look down at her.
"Hey baby." I smile and give her a hug.
"Hi Shawn." She says into my chest.
"Right this way." She smiles and leads me into the kitchen.
Man it smells great in here. I look over to the table and see a bowl of mashed potatoes, another bowl but this one had green beans, and a platter with pork chops on it. It looks so good!
"Hi sweetie!" Her mom comes into the kitchen, holding her arms out for a hug.
"Hi." I smile back and hug her back.
"I'm Linda." She smiles "sit, sit." She smiles sitting down at the table.
I pull out a chair for Hannah before sitting down.
"Oh what a gentleman!" She smiles and looks at me.
As we eat I tell her about myself. I rest a hand on Hannah's lap. My thumb creating circles on her skin.
"I also play the guitar." I smile and take a quick glance at Hannah. She looked beautiful, her curled hair, and her outfit.
"Oh wow that's great Shawn!" Linda smiles.
"I also sing a bit." I smile as Hannah looks up at me.
"You never told me this!" Hannah laughs.
"Well I was waiting till I got invited to a bon fire of yours so I could bring my guitar and we can all sing together." I smile.
"Well honey looks like we're having a bin fire soon!" Her mom smiles at Hannah.
After we finish eating I help clean up and do the dishes with them, her mom washes, I dry, and Hannah puts away. After that we chat for a bit before her mom lets me take her home with me. We slide on our shoes and she says bye to her mom.
"Thank you for letting me have this lovely dinner with you guys tonight." I smile and wave bye.
I open the door and let Hannah hop in the passenger seat before closing for her also, I walk over to the driver side and hop in.
"I can't wait for you to meet my family." I smile and take her hand in mine.
----------------------------------------------okay. Don't freak, I'm making a separate chapter for at Shawns house. That will be going up tonight/day (whatever lol) also. But I liked this. But where was Hannah's dad?? What do you guys think? Don't forget to vote and comment! Love you guys❤️❤️
