Chapter 4

Jocelyn's POV

I noticed something got Justin's attention, I quickly turned to look, but I shouldn't have, Marie was here!

"Justin...." I said scared

"Don't worry Lynn I'm with you." He assured

"Hey Justin you look fine as fu-" Marie said as Justin cut her off

"Marie you have it clear I don't like you so leave us alone!" Justin snapped

"Ohh feisty I like that" she winked at Justin while I stayed quiet

Justin gripped my hand & we walked away slowly although we didn't get far, Marie caught up to us

"Justin why are you always with that ugly thing?" She gave me a dirty look while I tried my hardest not to be offended

Before he could respond he got ahold of Marie & looked at Marie straight in the eye, by this time I knew Justin was furious & there was no holding him back

"If you EVER call Lynn ugly I will make your life hell! Got it?!?" He screamed as she flinched, I actually got scared for her I have never seen Justin this mad before

He loosened his grip on her & turned to me, his face softened as we headed toward the door, I could tell people were staring, so I kept my head down

Once we reached the car I felt a warm hand reach for my cheek & I looked at his brown, beautiful, dreamy eyes

"Are you okay Lynn?" He whispered to me

"I'm fine" I answered

"Do you want to go to the mall instead?" He quietly asked

"Yeah sure what ever kills time" I giggled

The whole drive there I couldn't stop thinking about how Justin defended me. I've started feeling something different for Justin recently but I guess I'm just to shy to admit it

Can you imagine a dorky, ugly girl with a someone as handsome & perfect as Justin? No.

Justin's POV

We got to the mall & she got all happy it was actually cute, seeing her look at clothes while I watched.

She was so beautiful! If only everyone knew that behind those glasses & shyness was a beautiful girl. Since prom was coming up I was thinking of asking her but I just don't know how, I don't want our friendship getting awkward.

"Justin what do you think about this?" She asked trying on a purple strapless dress that was ruffled & to the knee

"Wow you look beautiful!" I said amazed

"Haha thanks Justin" she blushed

"But it's $150 & I don't have money" she said sadly

"I'll pay!" I grabbed my wallet & waited for her to change into her regular clothes

"Justin are you sure you want to pay?" She questioned

"Yes, you look beautiful in that dress!"

We looked around the mall until it was starting to get late & we went home

"Thanks Justin for paying for the dress & defending me" she said gratefully

"No prob Lynn" I said

I came closer to her & I had to bend a little since she was a bit shorter than me & I breathed her in as I hugged her tight never wanting to let her go.
