*Danny*
It’s been three weeks since Jess was ill, and today I both of ours first day back at school, be still have to watch Jess because she’s not quite 100% better yet, but she’s been told she’s aloud to go back whenever she feels comfortable. She said she wanted to go back so we had to respect that, I'm a bit sad though because now Jess is back at school means I have to go back to my house I've been so used to sleeping with Jess for the past 3 weeks it’s going to be weird. I'm going back to my house later but now me and Jess are walking hand in hand to Holly’s Clair now gets on at bus stop 2 because she lives with her gran because her mum is a bitch for want of a better word. Doesn’t take us to long to get to the bus stop and when we do Jess is worn out, you can tell she’s still run down even if she sleeps it off she still feels the same. We sit down on the bus stop we the seat thing and Jess cuddles into me Holly talking to some other girls from school. Before long the bus arrives and I help Jess up and on it yet again we sit down and by the time we are at school Jess is pretty much asleep. I hate to wake her up but I have to. We separate well me and Jess do because she’s not in my tutor but she has Holly and Clair to watch over her, I give Jess a kiss and she walks off with Holly and Clair. I can’t tell this is going to be a hard day because I'm only in one lesson with her that’s R.E that’s with the only nice teacher in the whole fucking school which is good. But its last lesson we have that so I have to get through Maths, Science,English,P.E and then it’s R.E I will obviously see her at lunch and break but that’s not enough when you’re worried about her. I sigh as I take my seat in my tutor because my tutor is a bitch no dought she’ll be snide about me being away for 3 weeks…oh I was right.
Mrs Backer: Oh Daniel how nice of you to join us with your presence, been skiving have we..
That really pissed me off
Danny: NO! actually I was looking after my girlfriend because she was sick, being the boyfriend I should be, not that it’s any of your business
Mrs Backer: oh so your mum know’s you were looking after your girlfriend, because she would be ok with that
Danny: yes actually, why do you wanna ring her I have her number here if you want
Before she has chance to reply I ring my mums number because she is really getting on my nurves and I know my mum will show her what for down the phone, I put it on speaker so the whole class can hear as well
(Phone call)
Mum: Hey, Dan you ok?
Danny: no actually
Mum: oh god why is it Jess, oh no she’s not worse is she do you want me to come take her to the hospital?
Danny: no no mum it’s not Jess me and Jess are back in school today, not that Jess should be she really isn’t well but my bitch of a teacher don’t believe me you knew I was looking after Jess so I would love you to tell her
My mum obviously doesn’t know she’s on speaker so her response makes the whole class fall about laughing
Mum: oh my fucking god is that, that witch you and Jess are always on about she needs knocking down a peg or two put her on
I just pretend I'm putting her on because she can hear my mum clear as day
Danny: here you go mum
Mum: RIGHT LADY, Yes I let my son look after his girlfriend because she was incredibly sick, not that that’s your place to know so do you want me to come down there and sort you out, or are you going to lay off my son and Jess because she is like my daughter now, so back the fuck off and if you upset Holly or Clair if I hear you’ve had any bad word to say about any of them four I'm going to be straight there k got me!
Mrs backer: y-yes Mrs O’Donoghue
Mum: ok Bye
(she hangs up)
Leon: Dan your mum is awesome
Danny: isn’t she just
Mrs backer: Danny sit down please put the phone away
After that eventful tutor period off to first lesson it drags so much but when it is over I run to science because I don’t want a break time if I'm late I have to be with Jess that drags as well but when it’s over I run to Technology, to get Jess and God she looked worse than when she came this morning she looked like she’s been crying I see her and she falls into my arms Holly and Clair give me that look the ‘sympathetic’ one, Jess cries into my chest I hate seeing her like this I really do.
Danny: shhhh baby don’t cry
Jessie: m-my head hurts so bad
Danny: shhh should I take you home babe because being here is making you worse
Jessie: n-no I have Music next
Danny: baby that’s not going to make your head any better
Jessie: I will be ok just I need water
Danny: come on then lets go get you a bottle of water from the canteen
Holly: why don’t you go to the vending machine it’s quitter if she’s feeling like that
Danny: fair point lets go then
We walk well jess leaning on me to the vending machine and I get her a water and Holly and Clair a Drink and myself pass them out and we go sit down on the bench so Jess can lean on me even more god I love this girl I’d die for her.
