From a balcony

Awake, I find myself falling. Asleep, I find myself fading. Somewhere inbetween, I come alive to the point where i can feel myself in these waters wading.

Above the clouds, I can hear someone calling.
Under the sun, I see all the the horizons offer.
Until my feet touch the ground, I will continue to dream.
I will search my everlasting body's schematics until I come across the blueprints to my brain.

Im so insane. The words start to rain. My ears start to drain, like a coward full of shame.

Asleep, I find myself falling.
Awake, I find myself fading.
Sought to seek empathy, but the letters of my words ran down the side of this building.

Hit me with these moments,
quicker than a new day's notice.
Sentimentally, I watch.
These thoughts, they drop.
Straight from the city rooftops.

Awake, I find myself falling.
Asleep, I find myself fading.
I catch myself inbetween,
find solace and solidarity that has been missing me from this sky high balcony.
