Flying Cars and Vanishing Walls

The children and adults stayed at the Manor mostly playing games, quidditch and finalizing unfinished homework.

When the time to go to Diagon Alley came by Harry gained the knowledge of a man named Lockhart while in the study room with Maya, Draco, Luna and Neville.

"Who is that?" Harry asked Maya who was holding a newspaper with Lockhart's picture on it.

"That is Gilderoy Lockhart, he's a former Hogwarts student you know Ravenclaw I think." Luna answered.

"He's quite handsome isn't he?" Maya asked Harry.

Harry was a bit taken a back from that question with a hint of jealousy creeping into his heart.

Maya did not miss this action and quickly gave him a quick kiss on the cheek letting him know that she still liked him.

"But I think your more handsome than he is." Maya whispered into his ear.

"Get a room." Both Neville and Draco teased in unison.

Harry laughed at this and initiated an impormtu game of tag with the two.

"Boys." Luna and Maya said in unison getting back to their books.

All five children were brought to Diagon Alley by all the adults.

There they met the Weasley's. Maya and Harry were formally introduced to both Molly and Arthur Weasley as well as Ginny who seemed to be timid around Harry.

Of course Ron was there but he mostly kept to himself and distant from everyone else.

They were running late to King's Cross. Aggie, Neville, Xeno, Luna, Draco, Narcissa, Lucius, Dan, Emma, Maya and the Weasley family made their way through the barrier. This left only Ron and Harry, Ron looked smug and quickly rushed towards the barrier only for him to clash right into a solid brick wall.

"Well what are you doing just standing there help me up!" Ron said angrily.

Harry reluctantly helped Ron up who in turn shoved him away.

"What a prat." Harry whispered to himself as Ron stiod up to fix himself.

Then Ron had a really stupid idea.

"Are you crazy? You can't drive a car, especially one that flies!" Harry replied.

"I've been watching the twins drive all year, I can figure it out," Ron retorted. "Come on!"

"No! All year? You've been in school all year! Ron we should just wait here. Your Mom and Dad will certainly come back here, it's not like they're going to leave without their car!"

Harry and Ron scowled at each other for a long few minutes. Then Ron turned and slammed his trunk into the back seat of the car. "Well, I'm going. If we want to catch up to the train to be able to follow it we have to go now!"

"Go," Harry retorted. "No one is stopping you."

"Come on!"

"NO," Harry stepped away, tripped over empty air, and sat down hard on top of his mother's trunk. He sat Hedwig's cage next to him and watched as Ron jerkily backed out of the parking space and drove away in fits and starts. The car sputtered as it became airborne. It was well up over the buildings before becoming invisible.

Harry sat there waiting for something to gappen with the barrier or for someone to come and help him.

"Ow."

Harry blinked. There was a little boy standing next to him. He pointed and said, "Ow."

"Are you hurt? What's wrong?" Harry looked around for the toddler's parents.
