Episode 1: Hit the Stage!! Part 1

My name is Yuno Sakaki. I know that last name seems familiar. That's because my father is the great dueltainer Yuya Sakaki. He and his childhood friend Zuzu are happily married and I'm their 12 year old son. I have a thing for music. I even dream about being a musician. And I have a small metronome that I wear around my neck. But for now, I'm just a new student at the Yushow Duel School.

Yuno: It's finally time. I've practiced day and night for this. Now I can finally live my dream.

The lights turned on. The stage was set. The piano was ready.

Yuno: Alright, time to hit the stage.

Yuno walked on stage and faced the crowd. He faced the crowd and took a bow. He sat down in front of the piano and began to play. He played each and every note perfectly and the crowd loved it. Once he was done playing, the crowd stood and cheered chanting his name.

Crowd: Yuno! Yuno! Yuno!

Yuno: Awesome. They all like me.

???: Yuno! Yuno!

Yuno: Wait, I know that voice.

???: Yuno, wake up or you'll be late for school!

Yuno: Huh? What?

Yuno looked around and accidentally fell off the stage.

Yuno: Uh oh. Aaaaaahhhh!

He landed on the ground and woke up.

Yuno: Ah man! All of that was a dream?

???: Yuno!

Yuno: Oh no.

Yuno looked at the time.

Yuno: Oh man! I can't believe I overslept! I'll be right down mom!

He quickly got dressed and went downstairs.

Zuzu: What took you so long?

Yuno: Sorry mom. Just dreaming about the usual.

Zuzu: Now seems like a bad time to oversleep. Don't forget that today's your first day at school.

Yuno: I know, sorry mom. Where's dad?

Zuzu: He left early. Said that he had something important to prepare for.

Yuno: If I know my dad, he's probably preparing for a dueltaining show.

Zuzu: That would sound like your headstrong father.

Yuno: Ah! I have to go or I'll be late! Love you mom! See you later!

Zuzu: Bye, son.

He hurried down the street looking for the school. He was in such a rush that he didn't see someone and bumped into her.

???: Hey, watch where you're going!

Yuno: Sorry, I'm just running late for school but I can't find it anywhere.

???: What school is it you're looking for?

Yuno: It's called "Yushow Duel School".

???: Oh! I also attend that school. But I've never seen you there before.

Yuno: That's probably because I'm a new student.

???: Well, I'd be happy to show you the way.

Yuno: Really? I'd really appreciate it.

???: Alright. It's this way. Follow me.

Yuno: Ok. Oh, by the way, I'm Yuno.

???: Katie's my name.
