Yasmin's POV
"Yasmin~ It's been a long time since we last meet. You've grown taller!" ahjumma said as she hugged me. "I miss you, Ahjumma!" i hugged her tighter. "Ehemm.." Wayoon cleared her throat. "What about me? No hugs?" she pouted. "Aigoo~" i pulled her into our hug. "Come in. It's cold out there." ahjusshi said, pulling us into the house.
"How are you, Yasmin?" ahjusshi asked. "Fine, ahjusshi. My family are all doing fine." i smiled. I don't want to make them uncomfortable with my past stories.. i thought. "Please don't tell them anything." i mouthed Wayoon as she nodded. "What about you guys?" i asked. "As you can see, we are doing totally fine." ahjumma shrugged. How can i tell them something like that? It will just crush their happiness... i thought as i watch them laughing together.
"Eonnie... who are you?" a cute little girl tugged my sleeve. "What's your name?" i patted her hair. "Kim Wa Ni." she smiled cutely. "My name is Park Yas Min, your sister's friend." i introduced myself. "Annyeonghaseyo, Yasmin Eonnie." she bowed. "Yoon Eonnie told me a lot about you." she smiled as i sit her on my lap. "Oh~ did she?" she nodded while smiling cutely. "Aigoo~ so cute." i pinched her cheeks.
"Wani! Come here." ahjumma scolded. "No. I want to be with Yasmin Eonnie." she whined while hugging me. "It's okay, ahjumma." i smiled.
"It's getting quite late now. I should really go back now. Thank you for the dinner, ahjumma, ahjusshi." i bowed. "Why don't you stay here for tonight?" ahjusshi asked. "No. No. It's okay. I'll sleep in my house. It's not good to leave the house empty for too long." ahjusshi nodded. "Wayoon!" ahjumma called. "Nae, Eomma?" she said.
"Sleep at her house for a few night. She's going to be alone at that big house." ahjumma told her. "Nae, Eomma. I'll just take some things first." she said before walking away. "No, no. I'll be fine." i said, refusing their offer. "No. It's not good to leave a girl alone in that big house." ahjusshi said. "Arasso, ahjumma, ahjusshi." i smiled in defeat.
"It still looks the same. How come there are no dust in here?" i thought out loud. "That's because we clean this house every week." Wayoon shrugged. "Jinjja?!" i shouted. "Yah! Don't shout. Yes." she rolled her eyes. "I love you, guys~ Gomawo~" i hugged her. "Nah~ Don't mention it. Your family helped us a lot, you know. It's the less we can do for your family." she said. "Still~" i hugged her tighter. "Arasso, let's go to your room." she said.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot to ask. Where are you schooling?" she asked. "Ummm... Seoul School Of Arts." i answered. "Jinjja?!" she shouted. "Yah?! Are you doing this for revenge?!" i rubbed my ears. "No, no. It's just i'm excited." she denied. "I go to school there." she announced. "Really?!" now, it's my turn to shout this time. "Yeah.." she laughed at my behaviour. "But... i'm not sure if i want to go.." the smile on my face faded. "Why?" she asked. "You know what happen at my last school. I'm tired of being used beacause of my origin. I'm tired of being used because of my parents. I just want others to see me as Park Yas Min. An ordinary girl. Not Shea Park. The daughter of Anthony Park and Marilyn Kang." i sighed.
"Don't worry, Min. I have an idea." she patted my back. "Just believe me." she smiled as i smiled back at her.
"Where did you go when i left you this morning?" she asked. "Nowhere. I just ran into this someone." i rolled my eyes. "Is this 'someone' a boy?" i nodded. "Is he cute?" she asked. "Cute?! No. More to R.U.DE." i spelled. She laughed. "Of course. Yasmin will never call a boy cute or handsome." she teased. I rolled my eyes at her. "Let's just go to sleep." i said before laying down on the bed. "Night, MinMin." she said. "Night, Yoonie.." i said before drifting off to sleep.
Next morning~^^
"Minnmm... Get up... we're gonna be late." someone shook my body. "Ummm... 5 more minutes, Eomma..." i whined. "Get up, Min and take a shower. Hurry up." that person shook me again. "Hmmm... 2 minutes.. 2 minutes.." i said.
"2 minutes? Yeah, right." she said before pulling me off the bed. "Aish!" i glared at her. "Now go take a shower. I'll wait for you downstairs. My mom had prepared breakfast." she said before walking away. "You don't have to pull me off the bed!" i shouted. "That's the only fun way!" she shouted back. I snorted before walking into the bathroom."Gomawo, ahjumma!" i thanked her. "We'll be back!" Yoon shouted. "Arasso!" ahjumma shouted back.
"Are you sure about this, Yoon?" i asked holding this really thick speactacles. "Of course. No one will know you. Even i wouldn't recognize you like this. Just believe me." she winked. I nodded at her.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Eonnie." Yoon greeted this young woman at the reception desk. "Oh~ Wayoon. Annyeong.~" she said. "Eonnie. This is Park Yasmin. The new transfer student." she introduced me. "Annyeonghaseyo, Miss." i bowed. "No need to be so formal. Just call me Eonnie. Welcome to Seoul Arts of School." she welcomed me. "Kamsahamnida~" i said. "Eonnie. I'll go first. Take good care of my bestie here." Wayoon said before walking away.
"Yasmin, right? Let's go and meet your homeroom teacher." she said before leading me to the teacher's room. "Miss Yu. This is Park Yasmin. Your new student." she introduced me to a woman in her 30's. "Annyeonghaseyo." i bowed 90 degrees to the woman. "Oh~ You can go, Yura. Thanks." she nodded to the younger woman. "My name is Yu Jae Hee. You can call me Miss Yu. I'll be your homeroom teacher from now on. Let's go and meet your classmates." she smiled before walking away with me trailing behind her.
"Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Park Yasmin. I'm from London. Take good care of me, please." i bowed. I looked up and saw Wayoon waving frantically at me. I giggled a little when i saw her. I looked the other way just to find a pair of eyes looking at me. It's... It's.. Please tell me i'm dreaming..
