Chapter 4

Yasmin's POV

I breathe in the air. New place, new life, i guess? i thought as i got off the plane. "MIN!" a girl ran up to me and crashed me into a hug. I stood frozen, not knowing what to do. She pulled away, realizing my confused face. WTF?! Who is this girl?! Wait... she looks familiar.. i thought. That's when it hits me.

"YOONIE!?!?" i shouted so loud that everyone in the airport look at me. But.. what do i care? I hugged her so tightly. "Yeseul... y-you're su-suffocating me..." she struggled in my hug. "Oops.. sorry.." i sheepishly smiles. "How are you?" she asked, holding both of my hands. "Umm... fine, i guess?" i faked smiled.

"What is it? What happened? I know that you're lying, Min. Spill it." she crossed her arms. "Umm... i'm fine. Really." i smiled as genuine as possible. "Nope. Not taking a 'no' as an answer." she said. Sigh.. no use lying to this girl. She knows basically everything about me i thought as she dragged me to God-knows-where. "We have a lot of catching up to do." she grinned happily.

"Annyeonghaseyo. Welcome to our cafe. What would you like, Miss?" a woman employee asked. "Umm... can i have a caramel machiato and..." she looked at me. "Iced americano, please." i smiled at the woman. "Nae. I'll be right back." she said and disappeared around the corner.

"Here's your order. Thank you." she handed our drinks.

"Now. Tell me everything." she demanded. "I'm really okay, Yoonie." she raised her left eyebrows as she looked into my eyes. Sigh... "How can you always see through me..." i looked down.

I started telling her everything that happened at my old school. A tear escaped my eyes unknowingly as i tell her my story. "Yasmin... mianhae. For not being next to you..." she hugged me as we both bawled our eyes out, earning weird looks from others.

"It's not your fault, Wayoon..." i smiled. "It's okay... it's all in the past. I've decided to just let it go..." i said to her as we broke the hug. She kept looking down eventhough her phone is ringing.
"Yoonie.." i called. "Hmm?" she looked up, revealing her swollen eyes. "WAYOON! STOP CRYING! Your eyes is already swollen! Pick up your phone. It has been ringing for a while." i told her.

"Huh? My phone? Oh." she received the call. "What? Oh god. Sorry... i forgot. Now? Umm..." she looked at me as if asking my permission to leave. I nodded in approval. "Nae." she ended the call. "Min. I don't have to go if-" she said. "Nope. You're going. You're busy, right?" i said. "But.. how about you?" she asked worriedly. "I'll be fine. I'm not a child anymore, you know." i pouted at her.

"You sure?" i nodded. "I'm really sorry, Min. I gotta go. Here's my number. Call me if anything happens." she gave me her phone number. "Arasso. Now go." i smiled as she walked away. "Sigh... i guess i'm all alone for now." i muttered as i walked outside the cafe. I was walking along the street when i saw a shop selling this reaaaally cute teddy bear. Don't judge. I'm a diehard teddy bear fan. My bedroom is practically full of teddy bears. I was admiring the cuteness of the teddy when something hit me. Someone, a man actually. "Ouch." i fell. That man just scoffed and continue on his way. "Aish." i muttered when i saw my bloody knee.

"Yah! You!" i shouted at him. He looked back and scoffed before looking back to the front. I ran after him and pulled his hand to face me. "Yah! I called you!" i shouted. "What?" he glared. "You should apologise if you bumped into someone!" i shouted. "Why would i? It's your fault. You're the one blocking my way." he shrugged. "Don't make up any excuse to avoid apologising." i rolled my eyes. "Shut up. Just get away from me. Don't talk to me." he said between gritted teeth.

"I won't even budge without your apology." i stubbornly said and crossed my arms. "Then, i'm going." he snorted. "Nope. You're not going anywhere without apologising." i grabbed his arm. "What the-" he was cut by someone shouting. "MIN SUGA! COME BACK HERE!" someone shouted. "Aish." he muttered. "I told you to stay away!" he ruffled his hair in frustration.

"MIN SUGA!" a group of thug-like students ran towards us. "Aish!" he groaned before running while dragging me with him. "Let me go!" i tried to yanked his hand away but his grip was too tight, it hurts. "Let me g-" i shouted again. "Just shut up!" he snapped.
He pulled me into this really dark and narrow alley. "What are trying to do!? Let me go!" i shouted. He suddenly put his hand over my mouth. I tried to pushed his hand away but he turned me around and held me by the waist. I automatically froze when he did that.

"Phew.. they're gone." he said as he let me go. I slapped him, "What are you trying to do!?" i shouted. "Me? Saving your life. It's a relief they didn't see your face. Or you'll probably be dead by the end of the week." he snorted. "D-dead?! W-what do you m-mean?" i stuttered, feeling quite scared. "Why? You scared?" he smirked. "Scared? Pfft. In your dreams." i snorted. "Why are you complaining, BTW? Didn't you like it?" he smirked. "Being that close to you? Ew. No." i looked at him disgustingly.

"Yeah, right. You totally were liking it." he mumbled. "Excuse me?" i looked at him in disbelief. "Oh. Did i say something?" he asked innocently. "Now tell me. Why are you being chased by those guys?" i crossed my arms. "None of your business." he rolled his eyes. "Excuse me. I am dragged here to i don't know where this is and now i'm lost. I deserve to know, okay?" i stared at him in disbelief.

"So? I don't care. That's your problem. Not mine. And do me a favour, will you? Don't go around and stick your nose into others problem. Just take care of your own problem." he spat before walking away. Ooookayyy... i thought before taking my phone out and called Wayoon.
