She walked through her front door, dragging her feet. She hated this house. She hated the memories that inhabited it. She could feel the darkness swirling inside the wretched house that will never be a home.
"I'm home," Her voiced echoed thorough the empty house. She sighed and walked up the stairs to her room. As she opened the door memories assaulted her.
•flashback•
A little girl, six years old was sitting on a bed. She was a cute little thing, with brown pigtails and a light pink dress on. She was playing with a small ragged stuffed bear. Suddenly there was the sound of fighting from outside her room. The little girl ran to her door and locked it before hiding underneath the little bed.
CRASH!!! The little girl whimpered and curled up into a ball underneath the bed, with tears running down her face. She hated when this happened.
• End flashback•
She woke herself from her memory and sat on the bed. She decided not to eat tonight and took a shower. She got dressed in a pair of worn pajamas that looked to small on her. She locked her bedroom door and crawled into bed. She didn't to pray, believing nobody was watching over her. She didn't know how wrong she was.
??? POV:
He watched over her constantly. Never interfering even though it hurt him to watch her suffer. He protected her as best as he could but it wasn't enough. He just prayed that it will end soon.
