Mine

Chapter 1

"Delilah Nicole, get down here now!!!" My mother yelled from the kitchen. I walked down stairs to find my mother sitting at the island counter.

"Yes ma'am?" I asked rubbing sleep from my eyes.

"How many times do I have to tell you to keep this stinky uniform off of my counter?!?!"

"I'm sorry i'll get it."

"I know you will." I smirk as i walk to the laundry room with my volleyball uniform, my mom always has to have the last word. While I was in the laundry room i decided to just grab some clean clothes out of the dryer to wear to school. I jogged back up to my room and headed to my bathroom to shower. When I was done I straightened my hair and applied mascara and eye liner.

I grabbed my phone and saw that i had two unread texts from my bestfriend Sarah. Me and Sarah have known eachother since the third grade and she was the first person i went to for help with anything. Sarah has big blue eyes and long red hair. She is about 5'5 and is a milky pale color. She's shy until she really gets to know you, then she is a hyperactive ball of fun. Me on the other hand i'm 5'7 with chocolate skin and dark brown har that stops just right in the middle of my back. My teeth are perfectly straight and white because I had braces as a kid. I opened the texts and headed down the stairs to catch my schoolbus. SARAH: Heyy girlie I need to tell u sumthing so I wiil be @ ur locker when u get here.

SARAH: hurry up u better not miss that bus!!!

I smiled at that because I was always missing my bus and my mom ended up taking me to school. **********

As I neared my locker I saw Sarah's long red hair hanging in beautiful loose curls. "Sarah you finally curled your hair!!" I said pulling at the red locks. All junior year I have been trying to get her to curl it but she likes it straight.

"Yea your welcome. Now let me tell you the news!!!! okay okay. okayyyy... well Aiden Moore is coming to our school to finish out his senior year! Ughhh he is soo gorgeous he makes me wish I didn't have a boyfriend with those big stong arms and that little stuble that covers his face and...." I zoned out and wonder why in hell would the Aiden Moore want to come here?? I had seen Aiden once at a party Sarah and I went to but it was dark and he was pretty far away. Everybody knew who Aiden Moore was even though he didn't go to this school. Apparently he was this super bad boy who killed his own mother when he was younger. What is it going to be like with him here? I thought to myself. What if he bullies me? I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of my name being called.

"Earth to lilah hey Delilah are you there?" said a male voice. I looked up to see Eli Rhodes, Sarah's boyfriend. He had his arm wrapped around her shoulder and had a huge smile on his face. Eli was a little taller than me standing at 5'9 and had short brown hair that was always spiked up perfectly and grey eyes.

"yea what's up?" I asked looking at them. "Well Jacob wants to know if this Saturday is cool for the double date thingy." He asked. "Ughhhhh noooo I don't want to go why are you guys making me. I don't like him and I never will." I groaned. "Delilah Nicole Brown don't be rude!!! He is a nice guy and he's cute. Plus I hate making you feel like a third wheel. so you will go on that date and you will like it." Sarah said souning like my mother.

"Ugh fine... I have to get to class. Oh yea and don't call me by my full government name like that!" I yelled turning and heading down the hall.
