He taps my shoulder and gave me warm smile. And pulled me in a manly hug.
"Congratulations to the both of you.I'm very proud of my twins."
He kisses Vinna's face and hug her also. I received a Summa cum laude and Vinna is a Magna cum laude in our own School. It's not like we paid for it, we're just intelligent in our own way. Not because that school is ours.
Today is our Graduation day but Dad and Mom can't attend that special day of ours.
Dad never leave Mom sides ever since the incident that cause Mom on comma.
Dad always says she's still on dreamland, specially to my little sister and brothers. That's why we celebrated all occasions in the hospital. But we don't bother celebrating it in there as long as she's with us.
We all knew that our Dad is just making us believe that she will return to us.
He's a father that all children wanted. He never show weaknesses even he's broken inside, he cares a lot for our necessities but we can sense it without him showing that he wants to give up and follow Mom's path.
We don't want to lose him too. we love him the way we loves our mother.
Vinna leave us for awhile as we talk to each other.
"Thanks for everything Dad. We're very thankful to God that he gave you and mom as our parents. Kahit minsan pasaway kami."
"Don't say that son. Di kayo pasaway saamin ng Mommy niyo. And the feeling is mutual son. We are very blessed to have you all as our children. Kala ko noon dalawa lang kayo ni Vinnara ang biyaya samin, but he gives us more than two.
Me and your Mom loves you all unconditionally. And don't question that because parents love their children no matter what happen."
He never talked to much in the past years until now. Our Mom is still on comma, but we never give up.
"I know one day your Mom will be tired on sleeping. She will be back to us. Sasakit din likod niya at magrereklamo."
"I know Dad. Mom's sometimes easily get annoyed and she loves to sleep a lot, but she never sleep without us all beside her."
I try to lighten the mood. Mom always sleep next to us, she always says if one day comes na ikakasal na kami sa kanya kanyang mahal namin we can never sleep next to her. Because our so cold "true love" will be beside us.
"Yes it is Son. Your Mom never get tired of it." He smile but not to long and back to frown again.
"I know one day she will be back to us. I miss your Mom so much, even it takes another years I'll still wait for her."
Tears fell down from my dads eyes. For the second time he cry in front of me.
We are still waiting, even it takes long for us to wait as long as she's still fighting.
We will fight too.
Just don't give up on us Mom.
