Olivia woke up the next morning dreading the day that was to come. It was only her second day back and she already hated going. She got herself ready and went downstairs to find the house was empty. Her parents already left for work.

She decided on going out for breakfast since she got ready so quickly. She walked to the diner that was just down the street from her house. There was few people in it.

She sat alone in a booth. She had gotten a text from Louis.

Need me to pick you up? Molly's sick.

She replied,

I'm at Sal's. Meet me?

He immediately responded.

Be there in 5.

She order a meal of pancakes for the both of them and of course a plate of bacon. Louis would kill her if she forgot.

He walked in the diner minutes later, wearing a Marvel tee shirt, with faded blue jeans. He had them rolled up like always.

Olivia always called him a little boy in a man's body. He always got offended by that, though. He liked to believe he was tough, which he is. But still.

"Good morning." He smiled as he sat across from her.

"Morning." She smiled.

He grabbed the menu.

"I already ordered." She said taking the menu away from him.

"Ah, lovely." He leaned back against the cushioned seat.

Louis watched her at the twirled her spoon in her cup of tea. He wished he could help her. But there was no way of doing so.

He cleared his throat. "Who was the kid you were sitting with at lunch?"

"His names' Marcel. He was new a while ago, I guess." She answered.

"Is he cool?" He asked.

"He's sweet." She said.

"Can he hang with us?"

"Louis." Was all she said.

"What? I just wanted to know."

"I know. But no, I mean he can. But he won't. I won't let him. Like I said he's a sweet boy, I don't want him corrupted by you." She said.

"Well if he's your friend, he's all of our friend. " He said.

She stayed quiet.

"Olivia. Tell me what's going on, you're upset." He leaned towards her to grabbed her hand, and she flinched.

"I think it's time for new friends." She said.

"What does that mean?"

Their food arrived, and Olivia grabbed her plate.

"I don't think I can handle hanging out with the group of friends I've always had. I need time. I mean, we can still be friends Lou. But I don't think I fit in with them anymore." She explained.

"I'm sorry."

"You don't need to be sorry for anything Olivia. I totally agree with you, I'm feeling the same way actually."
