CHAPTER5

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. I hit the snooze button, maybe i should sleep in even more since i have a day off work! i work in a pharmacy about 20 minutes away from my house. i went to university to study medicine to get my job that im doing now. I jumped out of bed putting on my thongs. I then went down satirs checking my phone for any missed calls or messages ,i had one message from my mum letting me know her and my dad went out for breakfast. Thats wiered i got this message almost 4 hours ago so what's the time? i click on my home screen and holy shit its 1:oopm omg how the hell did sleep for that long!! well its not that bad considering i did'nt sleep until 5:30 in the morning. I stayed awake cleaning the house alone. my mum wanted to clean it all but i would'nt let her because she looked so tiered that she was going to fall down. laila had to got work early because she has the morning shift and nadirah had a class at uni at 7 in the morning. So basically i did all the house work!

My phone was buzzing i took out of my bra i dont have any pockets in my pj's so i just stach it in my bra. i looked down at my phone and it was jacob missed call. thats wiered why would he be calling? omg i forgot we are going out tonight.I gave him my number last night just in case of emergencies ,was my exuse but it was really to talk to him!

Jacob: Just called to see what your up to and excited for tonight!!

Me: nothing much, just woke up lol did'nt sleep until half past 5 in the morning! stayed up cleaning and yeah im so excited to see you!

Jacob: omg hope you had a good sleep! you are to cute i miss u already!

Me: about to have breakfast well lunch really but yeah see u soon :-)

Jacob : sure thing !

I switced off my phone and poured a cup of chocolate milk , i also picked out a banana from the fruit bowl on the kitchen bench. i sat down in front of the tv and switched it on. i switched through the channels looking for something good to watch.but there was nothing good on!

I looked down at my phone again and it was ringing ,it was leena my best friend since year 5 in primary school. we went to highschool and uni together as well. i answered the phone "hey leena whats up hun?" i said through the phone. "hey amilia sorry i couldnt make it yesterday extra shift at work" "no worries ,i had componay!" "oooh who was it?" she said excitedly. "why dont you come past, i have alot to tell you!" i said. "sure ! ill be there in 10 minutes " "okay" i replied.

I put my phone down and got off the couch to start doing the dishes. I finished all of it in 15 minutes.

A knock came to the door, " who is it?" I asked being satcastic, i knew it was leena but i was trying to annoy her. "shut up and open!" she said laughing. i opened the door and she just ran past me. i looked to see where she was going and she was running to the bathroom. she closed the door and locked it. i walked to the door "nice of you to say hello bitch !" i said laughing my head off from the way she ran in the house earlier."yeah sorry! i was busting " she said laughing as well. she just finished washing her hands and unlocked the door. she opened tge door and gave me a kiss on the cheeck. she walked into the lounge room sitting on the recliner.

I sat on the couch next to her and told her everything that happened yesterday between jacob and i ,also the incident with daniel she was so shocked but happy for me at the same time. "i am so happy for you so is this Jacob guy hot??" i laughed at her response and answered back "yes!!" she then looked at her watch checking the time and it was 5:00pm. "omg wow i have been here forever! want to go out for dinner??" she asked unpatiently "no sorry ,going out with Jacob tonight and i don't want to ruin my appetite" i replied very calmly. "ok anyway what are you going to wear??"

"Maybe my knee length dark blue dress and black wedges" i said in more of a question. "sounds hot! i think you will have a great time!" She replied smiling at the thought of me and jacobbeing together. I could tell by her face expressions.

"I hope so!" i replied. "Amilia honey, open up the door please!" i heard my mum call from outside. "coming" i yelled. i opened the door to see my mum and dad outside. "hey, what happened to your keys?" I asked in curiousity.

" left it at home. so what do you want for dinner?"my mum said. " Okay,umm im going out for dinner with leena." i said waiting for her response. "is that leena on the couch in the lounge room?" she asked looking in the lounge room. " yeah it is! leena come here!" i called from the kitchen. she was talking to my dad because he walked right into the lounge room and started watching t.v. she got up and started walking to my mums direction. "hello aunty how are you?" leena greeted nicely. she calls my mum aunty out of respect.

"Hello honey good. so what time are you girls going for dinner?" My mum asked looking at me. leena knows i hav'nt told my parents about jacob and i tonight, so she decided to answer the question."about 7:00 or so." Leena said confidently."Okay do'nt come home late! " My mum said "okay mum" i said with a little bit of attitude in my tone.

I ran upstairs and jumped in the shower. I let the hot running water flow over my tense body. I was in there for about 10 minutes. i jumped out and walked out of my on suiet and into my bedroom. my towl is wrapped around me. i have my clothes picked out already. I am wearing what i told leena i was going to wear. i was all dressed up all i had to do was straighten my hair and put my make up on , i had finshed doing that in about half an hour. i went down stairs luckily the coast was clear my parents where not anywhere to been seen. i went outside to see leena leaning against a wall on her phone. she jumped off as i walked outside quietly.

" Alright honey i gotta go, by the way looking sexy!" i giggled at leenas comment and kissed her goodbye.

I watched her walk to her car. i looked down at my phone and it was 6:45 pm. I looked up from my phone to see jacob in his car with flowers in his hand. thats so nice of him!

I ran to the car before he could get out."hello " i said as i jumped in the car. " Hi there "he said laughing. "i was just about to come down and..." i cut him off. "Yeah my parents are sleeping so i thought of going to you instead." i said making up a lie. " Okay these are for you!" he said as he passed me the flowers.

"Thankyou there beautiful"

"Yeah just like you!" jacob said so cuetly.
