Passion POV
Walking through the mall I look for some shoes for my girl's wedding When I bump into someone. "Sor-, I stare at the person in shock. "Janet?" She smiles shyly but waves, For a moment I'm surprised by how shy she's acting around me but then again I know it's been a while since we saw each other. I look around to see if she's with anyone, "who are you here with?" " M-my dad, b-but-." I grab her hand, "let's find him," I say starting to walk forgetting all about the shoes I needed to get.
We walk around for a little bit before we decide to go to the food court because if I remember right DJ loves food, Subway to be specific. So that's where we decided to go and of course, we see his fat ass at a table grubbing on a sub. we quickly make our way over to him and as soon as we reach the table I get hella butterflies. It's been two years since I saw him and his last words still haunt me. " Passion?" He says in shock, "hey DJ." I smile shyly, "I see you found Janet once again." He says smiling, " yea even after five years you still end up letting her wander off in this big ass mall." I laugh playfully crossing my arms. "Hey you good right, I don't have to smack him do I?" I say smiling at Janet. I'm still shocked as fuck to see her, she has to be fifteen or sixteen now. She laughs and shakes her head no, "Nah he's okay for now."
"Oh so you trynna steal my baby from me again Passion, now we're gonna fight." He says standing up, Janet pulls up her pants and puts her fist up. I laugh, "you two are so silly." Thinking to myself, I think about how much I've missed them but I know that DJ was just going through a rough time. Janet quickly bites DJ when he grabs her and starts tickling her sides, making him let her go. I bite my lip hard trying not to bust out laughing. "Passion he's trying to kill me," she runs over to me. Laughing I grab her hand and we run to the nearest exit leaving DJ behind, once we get outside we both start dying laughing. "He's gonna kill us now," I say catching my breath. As soon as I say that DJ comes out shaking his head, "we gotta shoot the ones Passion. You always wanna take my baby from me." When, where, and what time, I say smirking. " You know I'm always ready so don't play," he says laughing. " Bet says less," I say hugging Janet cause I'm about to leave. " Well Janet you have my number, I have some work I need to finish. I'll catch up with you'll later." I hug DJ and start walking to my car when he stops me and pulls out his phone getting my number.
