Chapter four A Movie With Sadistic Weirdoes

It turns out I had everything to be scared about.

The movie was called Wolves. It was about a group of people who changed into wolves and killed people who came into the woods. The whole group found the movie amusing; for what reason I have no idea. I however was beyond terrified. I refused to let Declyn know that though. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of being right. It took everything in me not to leap onto his lap and curl up, but I didn't want to give in that easy

Currently there was a girl looking for her friends who mysteriously disappeared, but the wolves killed them. As an angel it hurts to see death. Knowing those poor innocent people were murdered made me want to weep.

"Don't go in there!" Avery shouted loudly throwing kernels of what they called popcorn at the screen of what I found out was the T.V.

Sure enough the red haired girl opened the door to the house and stepped in slowly. She turned the lights on and looked around slowly. A wolf covered in blood was standing in the living room. He growled loudly at her and she shrank back in fear.

I looked at the faces of my new friends and shuddered in disgust. They were all smiling like death was good. I glanced at Declyn hoping he wouldn't be like them. When I saw his face my heart clenched. He was smirking. I gasped, scrambling to my feet and they all looked at me confused.

I was shaking in fear, confusion, and disgust. Declyn got up reaching for me. His features covered in concern. "Linnèa are you okay?"

"D-d-don't t-t-t-touch me." I stuttered moving out of his reach.

His mesmerizing green eyes filled with hurt and I wanted so badly to make that go away. I couldn't though. He liked watching people die; they all did. That was wrong; an innocent person dying is wrong. I shuddered at the thought of their smiles. He inched closer causing me to back away. "S-s-stay a-away from m-me. Y-you all are sick. H-h-how c-c-could you smile while watching innocent people die."

They all looked confused, but I wouldn't let their pretend confusion fool me.

John laughed, "That's not what we were smiling about plus this movie isn't real. We've seen this movie before and we were smiling about how cheesy the plot line is." I nodded my mouth forming an O.

I looked at Declyn who was a lot closer than before. "Is that true?"

He nodded. "Of course beautiful." He thinks I'm beautiful? I couldn't stop the blush forming on my cheeks. Declyn thinks I'm beautiful! I almost squealed in excitement, but thankfully I held it in. He noticed the blush and smirked.

"I'm so sorry." I said quietly looking at the ground. I can't believe I accused them of that. Now they probably don't want to be my friends.

"It's okay right guys?" Avery said. There was a chorus of yeahs and squeals. I sighed and looked up with a big smile. I instantly regretted giving a real smile because they were mesmerized by it. An angel is naturally breathtaking. I smoothed out the creases of my dress looking around uncomfortably.

"Where did you get your dress?" Lizzy asked. Oh you know Heaven. I can't say that.

"Uh I uh it was a gift?" I said but it came out as more of a question. They all raised their eyebrows and I resisted the urge to face palm.

"Are you sure about that?" Don and John asked in unison raising their eyebrows.

I nodded not trusting my words. I was about to change the subject but luckily father walked in. "Linnèa I see your plate is gone does that mean you have eaten all of it?"

I bowed my head. I couldn't keep up this lying it was wrong. "No Father."

"And why is that?" He asked calmly. I knew he was mad that I didn't do as he said though.

"Avery invited me to watch a movie with her friends." I spoke softly. I suppose they were my friends now too. I've never had friends since I was kept secret. My father must have thought of that too and his eyes softened. "Okay Linnèa, but next time do as I say okay?"

I nodded. "Yes Father."

"I'm going to bed. You'll do the same soon right?" I nodded in response and he left.

"You guys talk weird." Don said.

What does that mean? I scrunched my nose up in confusion. I tried shooting him a glare but I yawned instead. Leave it to me to yawn at the most unnecessary moment. I settled for sticking my tongue out at him. Everyone's eyes twinkled with amusement. I'll admit that was childish. I couldn't help it.

I was extremely tired. Falling from Heaven was tiring. I walked back to my spot on the floor. "Let's finish the movie?" I asked.

"Okay." Avery said and everyone went back to their spots.

I waited till the light were off and everyone was paying attention to scoot closer to Declyn. I'm not going to lie this movie is creepy.

The wolf grabbed the girl's leg with his teeth as she was running up the stairs and dragged her back down. I cringed and practically flew onto Declyn's lap. I buried my head in his neck and clutched him like my life depended on it. He wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back. "It's not real." He cooed.

Before I knew it I fell asleep in his lap surrounded by his manly woodsy scent while listening to him whisper sweet nothings in my ear.

Sorry this chapter is boring and not that long. It's mostly just a filler chapter. Let me know what you think.
