I laid awake until morning with my brain thinking restlessly.
I heard the shower going which ment my aunts boyfriend was up.

Gabriel decided to enjoy the time while the house was still, quiet.
Somehow she found her way into her aunts room and she was also woke getting things out for work.
"Ohh Gabby you scared me creeping around the corner like that." Her aunt jumped.
Gabriel giggled at her aunt squinched up facial expression then apologized. "Sorry Aunty."
"Yeah Yeah. Why you up so early its 4."Her aunt asked holding up one of her nurses uniforms.
Gabriel shrugged. "Couldn't sleep."
"Hmm." her Aunt sighed. "Is this one of those dreams again?"
Gabriel shook her head. After the third time having the same dream Gabriel confided in her aunt.
"Dreams have a funny way of twisting life with imagination. I wouldnt think to much on it." she had told her.
" Well since your up you could help me get your cousins up, looks like Imma have to get into the shower when Leon gets out cuz he beat me too it ."
"Yeah sure." Gabriel agreed without hesitation.
"Thankyou Gabby. You know we're going to miss you when you leave."
"Yeah Imma miss you too. I just hope I do good."
"You will your smart. And your beautiful so I don't want you getting no boyfriend right off bat. Matter of fact stay away fron them boys." Her aunt said sternly but kind.
"I will Aunty. I'm not very easily won over."
"I know your smart and tough but college boys are different and they pry on freshman. So just stay true to yourself."
"I will Aunty I promise." Gabriel said truthfully when seen that her aunt had become emotional.
She never really thought of falling inlove.
Of course she thought boys where cute and she mightve fantisized about a relationship, but that was it.
No one has made it past Gabriels friend zone so she graduated highschool a proud virgin.
"Alright. But you know I got eyes everywhere and I know about that lil neighborhood knucklehead."
Gabriel immediately knew who her aunt was talking about. Jonathan or Johnny. And yes he was the neighborhood thug who was also a player and often times tried to sweet talk Gabriel.
Gabriel played coy and sat on her aunts bed.
"He is really nothing to worry about. Really." she tried to persuade her aunt.
Yeah Johnny had game but that was it. Gabriel didn't give him the time of day nor pay attention to him. Most of the time ;)).
"Yeah you saying that now but look at me."
Gabriel loved her aunt and her advice but more times than not her aunt always paralled a situation to hers.

Reggie the youngest was six he also had a smart mouth. Then there was Briana and Alexis who where nine and ten and couldn't be more grown. Courtney who was 15 and shared the bed with Gabriel
