I got into the line up and she showed us the dance to a Janet Jackson song. We got into groups of three and the middle person squatted down and the people on the outside placed their hands on the middle person's shoulders. Missy and her group went over it and taught us it. After a few groups of girls went it was my groups turn. The music started and I removed my left hand from Jasmine's shoulder.
(The dance is up above if you would rather watch it)
We jumped together and moved out head from side to side. Then we dragged our right arms upward and snapped. Next we criss-crossed with our arms and feet and leaned forward. The lyrics went kitty cat kitty cat meow meow meow. We stuck both of our hands out and slanted them to make them look like cat paws and the moved them together. The other lyrics went: "Miss Jackson oh she wear the crown." We crossed our arms and then put them and pretended to place a crown on our heads. Then we went into a low-v and pointed at the ground and turned. We then went back down and came up with our arms above our heads and punched. The other lyrics went: "Now bring that beat back, Mr. DJ." Our next dance move was pretending to be a DJ spinning on a turntable.Next, we went into the make it work sequence and after that we posed finishing the dance. I opted for a sexy lip bite and hands on my hips pose. My eyes flickered to the stands and Dean smirk at me and slowly licked his lips. He leaned back into the stands a bit and rested his elbows on the row behind him. I got out of my pose and shook my blonde locks out of my ponytail.
"Alright, ladies good job the results will be posted tomorrow on the board outside the rink." Missy said. She got out of the players bench and skated away with her friend group. The other girls trying out did the same but I decided to stay. I had a open rink for about a thirty minutes before JV needed to use it so why not. I started gliding slowly and then went into some advance moves.
(I'm a figure skater so some of the terms I will be using might be confusing) I went into some twizzles and then into some jumps. Then I started spinning until I heard banging on the glass.
"Hey human blender! Stop ruining the ice and get off!" The pudgy kid who is the JV goalie said. I cocked a eye brow and grabbed my water and skated to the exit. Dean blocked the exit and tried getting on as I was getting off. We bumped into each other and I lost my balance. I was getting ready to brace for a impact of cold ice but two large hands grabbed my waist from stopping me."Be care it's slippery." His husky voice said as it traveled down my body. I started to get goose bumps and it wasn't from the cold. My arms had wrapped themselves around his neck. Then he pulled me back up into my feet.
"Thanks." I said rustling a hand through my blonde hair. He just winked at me and skated away. I walked back to my skate bag and I sat down on the bleachers.
He went into the huddle and then they broke away as one of Charlie's teammates had a lasso. I cocked my head to the side and raised a eyebrow. Okay, then. A big man that I was assuming was their coach walked past me. He didn't look to happy. A sound of a whistle rang through the arena. The complete silence. I quickly untied my skates and put them in my bag. Then I put on my hoodie and zipped it up. The coach was yelling at the team for acting immature and stupid. I watched as Charlie tried to explain himself. It just ended in him skating laps. I smirked to myself and started to walk out. Then a crash of the boards made me turn. Dean had checked the red head into the glass pretty hard. Then he winked at me.
I unzipped my hoodie a bit show off my cleavage and gave him a flirty wave.
"Dean, please stop fantasizing about the blonde and pick Avermann up." The coach shouted. The rest of the team giggled and I opened the door to the arena and left. What would he be fantasizing about?
