Jayfeather's Secret

The Dream

  Jayfeather twitched in his sleep. He was dreaming.  He was looking on top of a tree,  the wind blowing onto his fur and the moon and the stars glittering.  Jayfeather glanced over the forest and saw an eagle come towards his way, it was normal for him to see in his dream. Before the young tom could react the bird slammed into him,  sending him plunging down onto the hard ground. 
DUMB BIRD
yowled Jayfeather in the air then with a sudden thump he hit the ground. Jayfeather was bleeding everywhere,  his paws feeling hurt and his pelt covered in blood. As Jayfeather opened his eyes it suddenly turned into daytime and was squinting to get used to the light.  He heard a voice far away,  but couldn't tell who it was.
Who's that? 
“ Jayfeather! ” hissed Leafpool
“ It's already sunhigh and you're still sleeping, wake up!”
Jayfeather grunted in tiredness and got up, shaking the leaves caught up in his pelt from the nest
It's all pitch black again
“ Jayfeather, I want you to go out and get some leaves for the queens. That way it'll be more comfortable for them to put it in their nests.”
Jayfeather froze
Leaves are on trees...
It's obvious that they are on trees, but the dream made him a bit frightened of climbing up trees.
“ Ok Leafpool I'll get it ” Jayfeather padded out the den and headed out the Thunderclan hollow
I'll just find a random tree and get it over with...
Jayfeather lifted his muzzel trying to scent where a good tree was. Unfortunately, he couldn't get any leaves on the floor since it was green leaf. The most softest ones are on trees. He finally found the tree that had lots of leaves.
Well might as well get it
Jayfeather climbed on the bark and climbed on top
I hope it's not that big
Jayfeather kept on climbing the tree,  his paws were getting numb and tired but finally, he reached to a branch that he felt had the softest leaves. 
Okay, now I regret climbing onto this tree
Jayfeather lifted his muzzel to scent where the leaves were
Wait...First I need to check something
Jayfeather broke a stick from the branch and dropped the stick,  Jayfeather twitched his ears

The stick was still falling
2...
The stick was still falling
3...
The stick was still falling
4...
The stick was still falling
5...
THE STICK WAS STILL FALLING! Then with a sudden thump it landed
5 looong seconds
Jayfeather shivered and pushed the thought away and grabbed the leaves with caution. Careful not to rip them. Then suddenly, he heard a bird call making his paws slip and drop the green leaves along with him
AHHHH
Jayfeather screeched and landed on his side with a huge thump.  Jayfeather got up, his body aching and his pelt full of blood, breathing in a shallow breath.
Jayfeather suddenly felt his paws give away and fell to the ground.
