Jayfeather's Secret

The Forest

“ You can what!? ” Hollyleaf and Lionblaze said at the same time, their voices awestrucked
“ I can see Lionblaze and Hollyleaf!  I can see! ” I said happily, sounding like a kit,  I was jumping around.
Realizing I was acting too much of a kit I stopped.
Heh heh

“ I'm so happy for you Jayfeather!  But are you thinking of becoming a warrior now, now that you can see?” Hollyleaf said while tilting her head
“ I-I really haven't thought about that.... ”
It was true, I really haven't thought about it . I would need time to think about it.
“ Lionblaze! Hollyleaf!  Come over here.” Sandstorm yowled
“ It's probably for the hunting patrol, we got to go Jayfeather” Lionblaze said with sadness in his voice.  I mean he didn't want to leave Jayfeather, now that they   discovered that he could see
“ Bye Jayfeather!” Lionblaze turned around and with a flick of a tail he went in the tunnel along with Hollyleaf.

Jayfeather was left alone to think. 
I might as well walk around the forest to look around and think.
Jayfeather made his way up the slope and looked around
Wow...  It's so...  Beautiful
As if the wind whispered it he heard something in his mind
A great change will come...
Jayfeathers eyes wided
The prophecy!  How can I forget! 

Suddenly something interupeted his thoughts, he saw a shadowy figure, it looked like of a cat
“Who's there!? ” Jayfeather hissed
“ Don't be afraid my friend, I am Fallen leaves”
“ F-Fallen leaves?  It's been a while ”
Fallen Leaves was the cat that guided him and his clan mates out of the tunnels away from dieing from drowning. Sadly he didn't have the same fate and died long before the clans. His spirit guided Jayfeather through the tunnels and ever since that, he has always wanted to speak to Fallen Leaves but  never could.
“ I have come to give you something ” Fallen Leaves smiled
“ R-Really?  ”
“ Rest your muzzle on that tree over there” Fallen Leaves pointed to a tall tree with his tail.
“ and close your eyes”
“ O-ok ” Jayfeather might have stuttered but his voice was determined as ever. He walked over to the tree Fallen Leaves said and rested his muzzle on the bark of the tree and closed his eyes.

Suddenly a great wind pushed into Jayfeather's pelt,  ruffling it. He stayed strong and still had his eyes closed,  feeling a bit nervous right now. The wind stopped, he needed to breathe and took a deep breath in and let it all out.
“ You may open your eyes now” As Jayfeather opened his eyes he didn't see anything that was unusual and looked at Fallen leaves with a confused expression
“ You have the power to shape shift”
WHAT
“ I do!?”
“ Yes, you have always been the outcast of everything and I have given you the ability to shape shift.”
“ How do I use it?”
Fallen Leaves turned around and diappeared in back of a tree

How am I supposed to use it!?  Question swirled in the young tom's mind.
“ Thank you,  Fallen Leaves ” Jayfeather said to himself
I guess now I have something to practice on
