Piper is confused. When Piper sees Jason cheating on her, Piper doesn't know what to feel. Hatred? Maybe. Hurt? Mostly. Confused? Definitely. Piper plans on escaping, but she is also leaving with one person in tow- Percy Jackson.
Percy is hurt. After everything Percy has done for Annabeth and with Annabeth, Percy thought they would be inseparable and the best of friends and lovers. Though, Percy isn't always right. After Percy sees Annabeth cheating on him with one of his best friend's brother, Jason Grace, Percy was very much near tears. When he sees Piper planning to leave, Percy decides to go along with her.
Leo is determined. Leo knows that Annabeth and Jason have cheated on their lovers. He sees Piper and Percy run away- hurt from the effect of their lovers cheating on them. Leo is determined to find them, and with one goal: to bring them back.
