The Alpha's Hunter Mate

Chapter 8

Aiden Power.

The pack has been training for weeks for war against the hunters. My dad told them to show no mercy. The mothers and children will be taken to a safe place. Away from the battlefield our advisors have told us that this war will bring death.

Meaning both sides may not win.

I still can't help but think about Isabella and how she drank that substance all. Trying to gather all my thoughts in my room. My mom came in.

"Aiden what's on your mind?"she asked. "Mom it's Isabella her brothers gave her a substance to make her feelings be gone forever towards me." I say. "You know Aiden hunters do that because their scared about joining our kind." Said my mom. "No mom I don't think Isabella was her brothers trick her into drinking it." I said.

"You know Aiden I had a friend who was childhood friends with a human." "He was going to be the next alpha in Blue Moon pack." "He uh confessed his feelings towards her but she didn't return them back." "When you were about 8 years old or so my friend told me he went to visit her and found out that she married someone else." "Before he left though I tried to calm him down and to it let go." "But it was too late he left and I found out that this girl was also a hunter." "Just like Isabella except they were childhood friends." "Well when we arrived at the house because we followed his scent." "We found three dead bodies and look around the house because we that Emily his mate had four children and we couldn't find them." "I'm guessing that Daniel wanted to convince Emily that she was better off with him." "Turns out all that Emily wanted was to be with her family instead of  with Daniel." "We then found a substance bottle we had no clue what it was at first." "So we tested it and discovered that hunters had created a serum to destroy feelings if they were attracted to werewolves." Explained my mom.

"Is there a cure?" I asked. "I'm afraid not Aiden you see the serum that we found was destroyed by hunters who tried to kill us but managed to kill them." Said my mom.

"But there has to be a way I just know it  ." I said. "Aiden be careful." Said my mom.  I nodded and she walked out of my room.

There has to be a way for her to remember me. I mean she has to remember what we had.

At least tomorrow Saturday.

All I can think about is Aiden's eyes that fall upon me.

The next morning I woke early to practice my fighting skills. Then I heard a bustle in the brush. I saw a large light brown wolf. Then it shifted to human form. It was Aiden and he is naked. "O my god can please put on some clothes." I whispered yelled. Aiden just smirked and put on some shorts. "Isabella I just want to talk please I'm not here to kill you." Said Aiden. "Fine meet me in my room but try anything and I won't hesitate to kill you." I said.

It was good thing that my brothers and the hunters weren't home. I went inside the house and up the stairs to my room. I locked the door to make sure no one comes in. I let Aiden come in my room. "So you fight on wearing that outfit." Asked Aiden. I was wearing a black Nike sports bra with capris and running shoes. My hair was done and I was wearing a cross necklace.

"Yes now why are you here?" I asked. "I know killed most of people." Said Aiden. "So." I replied. "So why did you drink that serum Isabella?" Aiden asked. "To make sure you wouldn't find my scent." I said. "Please I can still smell you that serum wipe out all your feelings towards me." Explained Aiden.

"No your wrong I've never like you so what proof do you have?" I asked. Aiden took a step closer to me and grabbed my waist. Then he slowly placed his lips on mine.

I didn't kiss him back I tried to wiggle myself out of his grip. But only to be tighten by his grip. One of his hands went to my bottom and squeeze it causing me to gasp. Aiden took that opportunity to put his tongue in my mouth. Then in about a minute or so I gave in and kissed him back.

Soon I felt tingles that shot out through my entire body. My arms snaked around his neck. To pull him closer I felt weak like he was my weakness. Then I realized that my brothers killed his mate. And I'm kissing him was only kissing me because he needed it.

I quickly pulled back and look into his eyes. "Stop we can't do this." I say. "Why not?" Aiden Asked. "Look I know your hurting because your mate or whatever was killed." "But kissing me won't bring you the same pleasure that you had for her." I explained . I brought my arms and looked into his eyes. Yet he looked dumb founded by what I had said.

"Isabella you are my mate." Said Aiden. "T-that's impossible I-I c-can't be y-your m-mate." I stuttered. "Well believe it sweetheart you are." "And you will be mine don't deny this feeling I have for you." Said Aiden. He brought my hand toward his heart. I could feel his heart beating faster. Making me blush I pull my hand away.

"Your brothers gave you a serum to destroy your feelings for me." "Your brothers are the ones doing this to us." Aiden my face in his palms. "They don't want us together Isabella." Explained Aiden.

"I don't know what to believe except that war is almost upon us Aiden." "Hunters will strike first and there is no telling what we have in store for you." "This feeling though is it you or your wolf?" "There are other girls who are much prettier than me." "What will happen if you were human?" "Would you still love me or is it a phase." I said.

Aiden didn't know what to say to me. "I mean what if we found a way to turn you back to normal." "Would we still be together and everything?" I kept asking.

"If you can't answer then we will find out and if it's true about only being the wolf than this relationship would just be an imagination." "I want to be with you but I still can't except the fact that I'm your mate even be with werewolf." I said.

"So what are you saying then?" Asked Aiden. "I'm saying that there's always a what if and we don't know what the pit come will be." I stated.

"Well only time will tell." Said Aiden. "Where are you going?" I asked. "Home I to get ready for war too and babysit my sister." "Ha you know Ella always ask about you." "Yeah she's always wondering when your coming over." "I tell you can't since your busy plus the whole pack knows your a hunter." "Anyway I'll see you in the front lines just do me a favor though try not to drink that blue serum." Said Aiden.

"It makes you weak right." I said. "What" said Aiden before leaving through the window. "When I drink it, it affects you too by me not returning my feelings right." "Which makes you weak or something." I said.

"Yeah well looks like you got my weakness but what's yours?" Said Aiden. Then he left out the window.
