Chapter three

CHAPTER 3: Éponine's POV: I sit on the couch with Enjolras, my head resting on his shoulder. I suddenly felt something move in my stomach. I cried out in pain. Enj looked at me, worried "Sweetie, what's wrong?!" I winced. "I-I don't know..." He picked me up and took me to the hospital.

I woke up in bed and Enj was sitting by me, holding my hand.. The doctors did an Ultra sound... "You're pregnant.." The doctor said, smiling a bit. Enj and I exchanged glances, smiling brightly at each other.

Enjolras took me home, we got there and he layed me in bed. I weakly smiled. "We're gonna have that perfect family we've always wanted, babe..." He grinned. "At last." He softly kissed me, and I kissed back smiling. We were going to have our own child. I feel a kick again, I wince. "Sweetie is there anything you need?"

I shook my head. "No, just you babe."

He sighs. "alright love... Let me know.."

I fell asleep.

Enjolras POV: I held Éponine.. She seemed so tired.. She's been sleeping for hours. She's probably in a lot of pain with the baby kicking and all. I love her so much!! I couldn't bear to ever lose her. She is my everything. She makes my heart full of love.

She woke up hours later. "Babe, " she said "h-hold me?" I smiled and gently picked her up and held her in my arms. She leaned into me, smiling cutely. "I love you."

"I love you more.." I said, playing with her hair.

She giggled. "I love you most babe."

Éponine's POV: Our little girl is due any time now. I'm just so excited to have our perfect girl!

Just now my water broke.. "Enjolras, babe!!" He rushed in. "She's coming..." I said, resting a hand on my stomach. He rushed me to the hospital as fast as possible. I screamed in pain the whole drive there.

Hours later, our precious little girl was born. I rocked her and held her close. "What shall we name our little sweetheart?" Enj said, looking so happy. "How about Katie?" I said, smirking.

"I love that name, Ép." He smiled.

"Well do you want to hold our darling little Katie then?"

He nodded and ever so gently took her and held her. "Hey my little girl!!" Katie giggled cutely. "She loves her papa" I smiled.

"She looks like you Ép. Her beautiful brown eyes and dark hair. You two are so perfect." I blushed madly.

We took her home the next day, and prepared her room and crib. This is the happiest we've ever been. We have our own family now..

Enjolras POV: It's been two years since our sweet little Katie has been born. I have been busy with Revolution meetings, and planning our strategies.

Éponine sat on the couch with Katie, Katie's head resting on her shoulder. Ép was such a good mother. Always protecting and looking out for Katie. I always knew she'd be a great mom, despite how her parents treated her when she lived at the inn. She's so much differrent than those wretched Thenardiers. She's so kind and sweet, and gentle.

Éponine's POV: I sat on the couch with Katie. She looked up at me and touched my cheek. "Mama, are yew and daddy joiwning the wevowushun?" She sounded a bit worried. I sighed. "Sweetie we have to.. Daddy is the leader of it. But listen... I promise well come back to you.. I promise." She nodded with tears in her eyes. I held her close, not letting go. "I wuv yew mommy.."

"I love you more." I said, giving her a reassuring look that we'd be fine.

"I wuvs yew most.." She giggles through her crying.
