On The Run Prologue

I go to lay down after an extremely tiring day of school and drama and other stuff. I mean who does she think she is yelling at me I'm probably the best daughter she's ever going to have. So anyway, I lay down on my bed, alone at last, to do my everyday thing. Energy starts humming through my body, the more i concentrate the stronger and faster it gets. Soon that energy turns into numbness with a slight hot and cold feeling running strongest on my arms. Then, it turns into a strong pain but i don't move, i keep my cool, i finally hit the barrier and even though I've gotten this far I've never actually broken it. I feel my body tightening up, and my body's changing, my fur growing out, which is the fuzzy feeling I'm having on my skin, my bones start moving and shifting into place, and even though this is my first time I know exactly what's happening. When I'm finally finished i get off the bed and stare in the mirror to see two yellow eyes staring back at me. I jump out the window and run for miles, as hours turn into days, turning into weeks. I lay down, my legs giving up on me at last, and look up at the bright full moon up in the sky and mentally sigh. School, home, expectations, pressure, tears, hate, confusion, and finally pain.
