Chapter 6: Thunder

"Sola? Sola?" The only thing that greeted me was the summers air. Today was W-INDS break day and they insisted to go to Takashi's private beach. Sola stayed in the house whilst everyone was outside so I went in to ask what was wrong, but I couldn't find him.

I opened a small door at the end of the corridor. "Oh Sola.." I found him crouching on the floor with the lights off. He was the same age as me but a month older, he never talked unless spoken to. He was always with his headphones. He was always watching everyone and barely participating.

I knelt down beside him and stroked his hair gently. He tensed.

"Thunder's coming" he said flatly.

"What?" I looked out the window and saw a huge dark cloud coming towards us. I ran to the window and shouted as loud as I could at the others. "Come inside! A storm's coming!" I pointed to the cloud and Takashi rounded everyone up and led them all inside. I walked back to Sola and was confused. "Whats..Wrong? Sola?" I asked. BAM!! Thunder rumbled. Sola jumped and ran inside the nearest wardrobe. "Sola? Your scared of-" I opened the wardrobe "thunder?" BAM!! He covered his ears with his headphones. So thats what they're for. I sypathetically smiled. I climbed inside with him and hugged him. I stroked his hair trying to calm him. He was shocked at first but soon adjusted. I decided to sing him a song. *La La La, Calm summer's breeze. Warm moonlight shining. Oh oh~* He soon fell asleep and I led him (half carrying him) to his room and tucked him in his covers. Sola was scared of Thunder? Yes X No □

I was about to leave but he spoke. He spoke!

"I know about the stars. I know about you. You shouldn't hide. Use it for good, Airee." I turned around and saw him smiling at me like he knew something I didn't.

"How did you find out?" I sat at the edge of his bed.

"I knew it since the first time I saw you. Light flows through your body. Do you know what your star sign is?" He asked me.

"N-No. I was never told and I never tried to find out." I admitted. He smiled. "You are the stars. There are a few who possess The Power of the Stars. You have a rare power." He looked up at the ceiling.

"How do you know so much about it?"

He grinned. "My grandma has the same power as you"

I smiled. "Can you show me?"

"What?" I asked.

"Can you show me your power?" He looked directly at me.

"S-sure" I cleared my mind and wrote 'Starlight' in front of him.

"Wow! Thats awesome. You have Starlight!"

"Is that good?" I frowned at how little I knew. He smiled sweetly. Aw!

"Yes, it is." We were silent for a bit.

"Sola? Why are you scared of Thunder?"

He didnt answer straight away and I fely stupid for asking that.

"I dont know. I dont know my parents so I had no one to say 'Its just Thunder' so I had to endur it."

"If you werent with your parents then who were you with?"

"Takashi. He found me and I stayed with him." His eyes were distant like he was remembering what happened.

"I'll be fine now. You can go downstairs." He turned away which I guessed was a signal for me to go. I closed the door behind me.

Thunder..
