Mark's P.O.V.

Dating Jack as been better than I could have ever imagined!

After years of torturing myself with remaining in the friend zone with the blue eyed Irishman, our relationship changed when he asked me out.

Did you honestly believe that I would grow a pair and take that leap of faith?

Hell~ no! I was completely comfortable where our relationship was...even if I was dying from blue balls. I would have remained friends with Jack for as long as he wanted me to than to destroy our bond because of my feelings.

But my fantasy became reality a couple of months ago when Jack approached me after the panel at PAX East and asked me to dinner. I said sure of course, believing we would just grab a bite to eat, as friends normally do. But he made sure to emphasize that I should dress nice.

So that's what I did. I dressed in a black button down shirt with a red tie to match the dye in my hair and some fitted dark jeans. I was just putting on my black vans when there was a knock at my hotel room door.

"Coming!" I shouted as I got up and walked the short distance to the door.

I swung it open expecting to see Matt or Ryan since Jack wouldn't be arriving for another 20 minutes. Instead, I was surprised to see a bouquet of red roses being shoved into my face.

"What the...?" I said out of shock.

"Hey!" Jack said as his head popped out from the side of the bushel of flowers.

"I hope ya like 'em! They match yer hair, that's why I got 'em." He was beaming at me and my heart had melted at the sight.

"Of course! But you really didn't have to get me flowers. I mean what's the occasion?" I asked him while taking the bouquet and placing it on the night stand by my bed.

I turned around to see that Jack had made his way into the room and right up behind me, causing me to be eye to eye with his shocking, bright blue gaze.

"Uhhh....." was all I could say as my face began to heat up due to Jack's close proximity.

"Will ya go out with me?" was all he said in a serious tone.

"Haha" I awkwardly chuckle trying hard not to take his words the wrong way. "Of course dude. I mean we're already going out to eat, aren't we?" I said.

He grins and comes impossibly closer to me, to the point where his body is pressed into my body and his lips are hovering over mine. I could smell the scent of mint on his breath.

"Ohhh Markimoo~ don't be so ignorant. Ya know what I meant by that." he purred. Fucking purred!

I gulped and by that point I was redder than the roses sitting on the nightstand.

"Judging by yer hungry gaze and the half-erection poking me in the thigh...I'm going to take it as a yes~" and no sooner was he done speaking did he smash his lips to mine and my mind went blank.

Now all I can remember from that night was a romantic dinner and a walk around downtown holding Jack's hand since my mind was still on cloud nine.

Ever since then, Jack has been staying with me. He has to return to Ireland in two weeks though. I get choked up thinking about his departure but try my hardest to make his last few weeks in America spectacular!

These past months have been like a dream to me. I get to wake up in his arms, usually in the afternoon. I cook breakfast, well lunch....brunch? And we crack jokes about being domesticated.
