Second Part of Quandary

Caller : Akabane Karma

After a while, I decided answer the call. Oh, that sweet voice of his....

"How are you, Karma?" I asked while twirling my own hair.

"....Did I make the wrong choice, [Name]-chan?" How nice, his voice... I knew he hesitated just by his voice through the phone call.

"No, you did not. I assure you. She is a bad young woman. I have some proof." I spoke, trying to keep my composure. Then, I stood up and took a pencil from my coffee table. I held the pencil really tight.

"Ah, as expected from [Name]-chan~ You're very calm~"

After that short conversation, I decided to end the call. My pencil broke into two pieces as soon as I end the call.

"What have I done? I was just being the nice girlfriend." A girlish voice ranted through the call. Nice girlfriend, huh?

"You did, and it was his fault that you two broke up."

"....I did?"

"Yes, you did. I suggest that you should make amends with Karma-kun. I'm sure that he will appreciate you." Sure you did. You broke his heart. I decided to make some proof about her.

He would really appreciate your betrayal, heh..

"Karma-kun, I-"

"Ah, Okuda-san. What is it?" Karma asked.

"H-Here! I'll see you later, Karma-kun!" She dashed away from him after giving him a letter.

I am sitting in my own seat, watching the whole scene.

Is that a love letter?

Who knows...

"So, are you going back with her again?" I asked.

"Eh~Are you jealous?~" He smirked, walking closer to me.

"W-What?" I stammered while taking a step back. This was repeated a few times, and before I realised it, our face were only inches apart. Facing my flushed face, he asked me, "Did she do this?". Showing photos of Okuda kissing someone else other than him.

So, he was not going to kiss me....

"Yes, unfortunately." He clenched his fist and left me. He's in rage.

That...is...bad...

After that day, I did not hear any news of Okuda. Karma started to giving more attention that I was seeking for a long time.

Did I succeed?

Is it because of Leverage that I had this whole time?
