The Day My Life Changed Forever

Monday morning

Today I am going to tell all my friends that Austin and I are having a baby. We are going to tell his friends as well. We dont know what to say yet since they dont know we've been dating since the day at the beach. It has been almost 5 months since then. We told them we have some big exciting news. They all agreed to come over tonight so I need to start getting ready I took a shower then brushed my teeth and got dressed. When I was done I heard a knock on the door and I didn't know who it was because Austin was asleep in my room and everyone else wouldn't be Here until 7 tonight and its only 1. I ran to the door to open it and standing there I seen a tall guy with blue eyes and blonde hair. "Hey Mariah happy to see me?" He said. It was Thomas. Thomas was my friend in 7th grade but we stopped talking about 3 years ago. We stopped talking because he started acting strange and when I asked him he said it's because he liked me. I liked him to but basically we dated for 2 years and we broke up because he started hurting me and he wouldn't leave me alone he just kept hitting me and basically bullying me and said if I told anyone it would only get worse so I never mentioned it to no one. "Thomas what are you doing here" I asked. All I could think was how does he know where I live and why is he here. I was hoping Austin would wake up soon because I dont want Thomas to hurt me or this baby. He started to let himself in the house he didn't know I was pregnant and he didn't know I was dating Austin. Actually he didn't know I was with anyone. He said he was here to talk to me about our relationship a few years ago but as soon as I told him I had a boyfriend I didn't get to finish my sentence because as soon as he heard the word boy he pushed he against the wall really hard and I felt like he was going to hurt the baby because he pushed me by my stomach as soon as I hit the wall Austin came out of the room and seen me against the wall and pushed Thomas out of the way. Thomas fell on top of the glass table and it broke I felt tears falling down my face as I thought about the baby and I told Austin and we started walking out of the house when something hit me in the back and I turned around and seen that it was Thomas and I ran outside to the car as him and Austin began to fight. A few minutes later I seen Austin walk out of the house but no Thomas. I asked if Austin was okay and we drove off to the hospital for a check up on the baby. We were there for 2 hours and I seen that it was 7:30 and I had a missed call and a text that read:

Jessica ~ "Hey Mariah umm where are you and Austin and why is your house such a disaster this is not like you call me back as soon as possible I want to make sure that your okay because I seen Thomas walking out of your house there was a letter on the couch that said "Mariah just know that I will be back for u Austin and your fucking baby" why didn't you tell me you were having a baby your my best friend? I'm going to wait for u to get back I'm at your house"
I responded and told her everything that happened and about the baby and told her to keep it a secret until we got back and we would be home shortly. A half hour later we left and arrived home. Once we got back to my house I seen all of them there and my house was clean like how I usually have it. Then we sat down and talked about everything that happened that day and we found out the gender of the baby.
