"I stepped back in surprise,"
"Mother", Mystic interrupted Luna, "Was this Stallion Father and was he evil back then?"
Luna's face was still silent without an emotion showing either. She shook her head calmly.
"Dear Mystic, you father was a kind stallion. He was corrupted. I shall tell you that later in the story, for he was the love of my life," Luna explained, "Now if you would like to know that story, please let me continue with it."
Mystic nodded. The room was still quite and dark.
"I stepped back in surprise..."
"Aren't you happy to see me, Princess Luna?" he suggested with a bow.
A stupid smile rose to my face. I rolled my eyes, "Your so stupid. Of course I'm always happy to see my best friend. What did you think? I was afraid of you?"
We brought each other into a long hug. I sometimes longed for something more from him. I just didn't know if he felt the same for me.
"Aren't you gonna invite me to your party?"
I looked down at the floor with a sorry manner. I scraped the ground with my hoof awkwardly, "I'm kind of not going at the moment."
A hoof of his pounded to his chest and his face froze in a sarcastic shock.
"You?! Not going to your own part?! No let me get this correct. YOUR. OWN. BIRTHDAY!!!"
I laughed at him. He always new the best way to make me happy, even with the past happenings not too long ago.
"Oh come on Sombra. You know me too well!" my face still bright, like my sister's, from laughing I giggled some more.
Sombra lifted a hoof for me to take hold of, "Come on, how about we go dance on some balcony.
I giggled some more. I took his hoof and we teleported to a balcony above the gala hall. The music was just loud enough for us to here it well enough.
Of course it was a slow dance; I felt as if he planned this. We laughed at my terrible dancing skills. I was a mare of two left hooves. Or maybe two right hooves, but of course we all have both.
For the first time in a long while I was happy on my birthday. Sombra wasn't able to come every year, but he tried as I did his.

"Okay, okay. My turn! I spy something shiny and gray!" We sat together on a wall separating a creak from some farmland. The stars were shining bright as my soul that night.
"ME!" he shouted with the world's goofiest smile. We both burst out laughing and I almost fell from the wall, but of course I had Sombra to catch my fall.
"Now my turn!" Sombra's face lit up in pride, "I spy something dark evening blue with a soul so BRIGHT, that it makes my heart flutter at every sight!"
I had to think for this one. It sounded romantic. "The moon?" I questioned him.
"Closer to me than the majestic silver light in the sky. Closer to me and more important that any other thing in the world all around me." he answer with a silent romance.
I took one look at him then my instinct took over. I grabbed his face with a passionate kiss. I could tell he was taken by surprise.
He soon kissed me back, and both of our hearts fluttered.
That was soon the last of the night. For later he left, as he had a kingdom to rule himself. I felt proud of myself.
We said our goodbyes. Tia found me as I pranced back to my room with a giant grin on my face.
"Somepony's happier than usually." this spread a smile across Tia's face.
I nod and ignored her for the rest of the night. I loved my sister. I loved the world. I loved destiny and fate and all orbiting around that. That night was my happiest moment of time!
I never wanted this feeling to leave my heart. The flutter made me feel more alive than I have for over a hundred years!
