hey everyone!! this imagine is VERY confusing but at the end I will cover what the story is trying to show. I wrote this at 12am so it's a bit eh. Hope you enjoy xx

'You know, I didn't really believe in 'true love' without getting hurt; didn't believe all the hallelujah's in life. It almost seemed unreal that it was possible to have a perfect relationship. The word 'perfect' gets spread around like candy, it fools people by its taste, but what it does to you on the inside.. isn't so sweet.
I was so interested in how people fall for others in the blink of an eye, I even fall for people without even realising. But to say you 'fell in love at first sight' eh.. that's pretty hard to believe.
Speaking of the so called 'love', I keep tripping over this one person, for years now. He's a celebrity, no surprises, I wouldn't call myself a fan-girl but, I enjoy everything about him. You know that internet-sensation Shawn Mendes? That's him.
Love is a strong word that shan't be used in cases like mine, where the bond has never done it's power with the person. Words have never been spoken between the two.
Interest in the person seems appropriately more suitable.'
As of that, I close the leather bound journal which has now has its first entry.
My bibliography shall not be published to the world, but it shall be published to my heart, to look back through journeys I've been through.
As of today, I wrote my first entry as if I was talking about 2 years ago from today. The day when things took a turn.
The leather texture of the journal was smooth as I grasp the binder of pages and place it back on to the glossy table.
I slide across my seat and plant a kiss on my lovers cheek,
my boyfriend of 2 years,
and his name is Shawn Mendes.

okay here is what the story was about.
basically what the whole love thing about at the start is that you liked Shawn but you two had never met as he was a celebrity ect ect.
You wrote that based on what you was thinking 2 years ago, so now you are thinking and experiencing otherwise.
So they are basing the first entry on as if you wrote it 2 years ago, if that makes sense. But now the story has grown and you are living your life with shawn which you were unsure if you loved him. So basically your confusion stopped and you met Shawn and is living your life with him.
So they are writing a journal starting from where it all started and is still writing up to when they fell in love.
I'm so sorry if you still don't get it.
