Help For Nothing.....

Blanc and Neptune run quickly down the pathway to the city as possible. "We're almost there." Blanc says, helicopters and such were flying overhead and sirens were blazing. Neptune sees a flicker of light, she quickly grabs Blanc and jumps behind a fallen down tree with a few boulders. A bright flash is seen as the sky starts to darken. The shockwave shook the ground and Neptune and Blanc continued to stay in cover. Neptune peeked out with Blanc. The two see smoke surrounding the city along with the blinding light coming from the core. The second shockwave hits and multiple trees collapse, Neptune and Blanc go back to hiding in cover. After a few hours the sky returned to normal with the exception of smoke all around the city. The sounds of people screaming. Blanc and Neptune leave thier cover. "No..." Blanc's voice trailed off as she looked over the desolate city. Neptune looks at the city in shock. 'How can someone do such a thing.' she thought. The sound of zombies threw them out of their trance. "We need to go!" Blanc says. Neptune nods and they run way from the city as zombies start swarming it.

They stop to rest at the half way piont towards the school. "So what now?" Neptune asked, "Well now we find the virus recipy than get back to the Association." Blanc responds. The two rest for a few more minutes before by luck two union officers almost run by them. They stop and look at Neptune and Blanc. "They don't have it. Look at them." Blanc says, Neptune scans the officers before realising that the two were zombies. One lunges at Neptune and the other goes after Blanc. Blanc grabs her Hammer and clocks the thing in the side of the head. The zombie falls, Blanc lifts her weapon high before letting it come down on the zombie. Its blood and guts explode out of its body. Neptune finishes the other off be cutting its head off. "You ok?" Blanc asks, "Y-Yeah." Neptune says. Her voice sounded uncertian. "Ok let me know if there is something wrong, k." Blanc says, Neptune simply nods. Blanc searches the bodies and finds a note. It reads: We dilivered the package to the Basilicom soldiers. Awaiting further intel.

"What's it say?" Neptune asks, "Well it seems this guy was writing his mission details down. The recipy has been given to basilicom soldiers." Blanc says. "How do we find theses guys?" Neptune asks, Blanc shrugs. "I don't know." Blanc and Neptune walk back to the school. They find a spot that they think is safe. The sun goes down and nightfall takes over. Neptune and Blanc have somehow gotten a make-shift beds, blankets, and pillows.

"Hey Blanc?" Neptune asks, "hm?" Blanc responded sleeply as she was about to fall asleep. "Um I.... I'll ask it in the morning." Neptune says. She turns out the lights. All through the night, slugish footsteps, zombie groans and such can be heard. In the morning the two slept until mid-day because of how tired they are and how badly the slept. Neptune got up before Blanc. She left quietly to get a drink from one of the non-bloody, functioning, drinking fountains. Afterwards she looks out across the school, the view was amazing besides the fact there are the dead and undead everywhere. Neptune gets back to the saferoom, sees Blanc is still sleeping away. Neptune can hear Blanc's light/soft snoring, which is barely audiable. Neptune eventually pokes Blanc's cheek a couple times to wake her. Blanc wakes up slowly, "Morning Neptune." she says, "Morning, I think we should get going if we're going to catch those soldiers." Neptune says. Blanc nods, they get ready and head out of the school. The bridge was where they were going in hopes of intercepting Basilicom soldiers.
