The Hospital

Travis (P.O.V) 

I take Zane to the hospital and remembered Aphmau was worried about him so I text her what happened while they hurry Zane to where ever they took him I'm not allowed to go with. 
T: Aphmau we're at the hospital 
A: I know I'm on my way 
T: How did you know?! 
A: I'm his emergency contact 
T: ok see ya soon 
A: bye 
I go to the front desk and ask what they're doing with Zane but she just responds with "Don't worry he's done this before he's in good hands."
Because that helps me it just makes me worry more because this has happened before. Zane and I aren't close but I still care about him. I sit in the waiting room until Aphmau comes in running asking for Zane the woman says "He's in surgery he broke his arm and a rib" I stand up get Aphmau and sit her down she starts crying hard. I hold her and ask "Why are you crying" "He's my best friend this is the third time this has happened" "WHAT!?" "His father comes every three months and beats him. Zane always ends up in the hospital. I'm afraid the next time he'll end up in a grave." It takes me a minute to process this and decided that I'd take care of him until he gets better. "Aphmau I'll take care of him until he's better ok" "Thanks Travis  but I shou-" "Nope I've already decided, plus I don't hang out with Zane enough so this will give me a chance to talk to him." "Thanks Travis you're the best not alone buddy." "I know, now rest the surgery might take a while" "ok." 

Zane (P.O.V) 

I wake up in a white room all I remember is Travis driving me to the hospital I have a cast on my left arm and a back brace on. I hear snoring but can't turn to see where it's coming from. At this point I know I'm in a hospital so I pull the string for help and a nurse comes in. "Do you need something Mr.Ro'Meave?" she asks. "Yes, a drink and help up." "The first one I can do but the second one you're on strict bed rest until further notice" "Fine, then who is snoring in this room" "That would be Aphmau, the silver haired boy is quiet." Great Travis is here I think to myself. The nurse brings me some water helps me drink it and then I go back to sleep. Maybe when I wake up I can talk to Aphmau.
