The lasagna was set down on the wooden table, which conveniently, had five chairs around it.
Rachael gawked at Victoria's hand which placed the lasagna, "What the?! You just held that burning lasagna with your bare hand! Doesn't it hurt?!"
"Hmm? Oh! I didn't even realize that! I think I can conduct heat with my powers! Cool!"
Wendy slyly japed, "Don't you mean hot?"
Taylor begged Victoria to sit next to her, and she did so without any hesitation. Wendy sat across from Taylor after she plopped a hunk of lasagna onto everybody's plate. After the lasagna pressed against Rachael's tongue, she could not prevent herself from inhaling the entirety of it, while on the other hand, Nikki took nibbles out of it like a mouse. Taylor slunk in her chair, extended her legs out to Wendy, having the intention of feeling her genitals, but mostly to confirm Wendy's hermaphroditism. Wendy gasped as she felt the odd sensation, and looked down instantaneously.
"Taylor... What are you doing?!"
"Oops...~"
Wendy wanted to just blow off the whole thing, so she fluctuated the subject,"Maybe after dinner, we can play some games? I have to warn you, I'm a pretty mean board gamer!" She then decided to tell a story until then, "I remember when I first met your mom, Taylor. She came to these woods to hide that key differently from before, but the way she did it was clever. Any villain trying to obtain the key would think first to check a house; my house, that is, considering it's the only one here! That mean, old tree was actually very polite to your mother. She explained your family history and they seem to have gotten along as I watched from my window. After they spoke, Cassandra walked past my house, but she was so tired, and I came out to nurture her. She was traveling, trying to switch the locations of every key, and the least I could do for her was let her rest. She was so polite, and beautiful. You look just like her. We played piano a bit, then... Well, that last part is not important."
Taylor became jubilant at Wendy's memory, and thought about how wonderful Cassandra is. Rachael soon consumed her entire meal, and sanguinely slanted her chair back with her fingers intertwined behind her head. All the others eventually finished, except Nikki, she barely ate anything. Wendy collected the saucy dishes, but before she could return to her kitchen, Taylor snagged the plates and began washing them.
"Don't worry, I can relieve this minute chore off of your shoulders."
Wendy chuckled, "You know, I noticed you sure talk intelligently. And you don't really use contractions. Do you carry a thesaurus around with you?"
Taylor earnestly considered that Wendy was being serious, "No..."
"Taylor, I'm joking! You're so serious!"
Taylor emitted a deadpan laughter as she dunked plates into soapy water.
"I can help you guys!" Victoria insisted as she drew near.
Taylor asserted her ability to wash dishes as being best when left alone, so she gently demanded for Victoria to exit, "No thank you, Victoria. You were of help earlier, so now it is my turn. Besides, washing dishes is something that cascades into my finicky category of specific cleanliness."
Despite that, Victoria repudiated to abandon Taylor, and she began washing dishes with her. Taylor halted her movements for a moment when Victoria began, then resumed, while staring at her glumly. Taylor then engendered to blindlessly wash a knife while her eyes rubbernecked Victoria without an end, and she fortuitously lacerated the surface of her index finger, expelling blood into the sink. She didn't notice at all, but Victoria jumped back, pointing at the red sink. Taylor nonchalantly lifted her hand up, and put Victoria's mind to ease, by signifying that it was just a prosaic cut. Taylor consummated that she could physically maneuver the properties of her blood. She extended the dripping blood, and retracted it, similar to a yo-yo. Victoria was precisely unnerved, but Wendy was enraptured by Taylor's display, for she had never witnessed this form of magic. Taylor condensed the blood into a stinging protrusion, and then mitigated the blood into a floppy, serpentine shape that moved awkwardly. Victoria was worried sick that what Taylor was doing was hurting her, but Taylor straightened out that the original cut was not even felt, and that her blood tingled, but it didn't negatively effect anything. She then patched up the blood with fresh skin.
