Looks like I have company

5 hours before Zachary's incident-

Masky walked through the dark forest alone. It unnerved him when he was sent out to do things without his brother, Hoodie, by his side. He was also very unnerved by the absent apparel on his face. His mask was with a few other necessities in a black bag that hung loosely from his hand. He was honestly a little scared of being found by one of the other pastas while he looked like this. They probably wouldn't recognize him and just treat him like any other wandering human that found it's way into the forest. His knife was tucked into the bag as well, but he wasn't about to start taking unnecessary chances.

He took the scenic route around the left side of the forest, so he could loop around and enter the town from the opposite end. The townsfolk tended to be suspicious of anyone who walked out of the forest, not screaming and running for their life.  His targets weren't the townsfolk this time, he needed a ride. He had seen a old, beat up, red 2006 ford f 150 the previous night and that was his current target. The old car was perfect and he was planning to hijack it and drive to the city. I'm not walking that far.. but I don't want to make a scene.

He started to forget about his surroundings, getting lost in his own thoughts. Until an hatchet embedded itself into the tree just above his head. He jumped in shock and looked towards the direction the hatchet came from. Toby stood there, already wielding his second hatchet in attack position. Masky thought fast "Rodgers! It's me! Who the hell do you think your throwing that thing at?!" Toby looked confused for a moment, and then Masky saw his eye light up in recognition from behind his orange tinted goggles. He walked towards Masky happily "Hey there Masky! I didn't even recognize you without your mask! I guess I should call you Tim now, huh?"

Masky silently fumed. Toby was certainly the most annoying person in the world. "Really Rodgers? Not even a 'I'm sorry for almost taking your head off?' " "Nope!" Toby smiled happily. "SM sent me to make sure you got out of the forest mostly alive! I missed on purpose, I just wanted to spook you a little!" ...That bastard knew it was me!!! It took all the willpower in Masky to keep hold of his calm composure and walk away. But, of course, Toby followed like a lost puppy.

Masky couldn't help but cringe slightly as Toby attempted to 'sneakily' follow him around. Toby shuffled noisily through the bushes and peeked out of shrubbery and trees every time he thought Masky wasn't looking. There was a sharp metal "shing" sound and Masky walked over to the bushes he knew Toby was currently in. Toby was sitting on the ground behind the bushes, struggling to remove a large bear trap from his foot. Masky crouched down beside him and pushed a small lever on the trap. With a quiet 'click' it fell off his foot. Toby looked at Masky, a little embarrassed, "Thanks Tim." Masky sighed disappointedly "You're a real work of art, Rodgers."

Toby smiled slightly and they both chuckled. Masky helped Toby to his feet. "So you'll be joining me?" They started walking side by side "I guess so..I still don't understand why your keeping to this bet though" Masky tensed up "Because if I loose this bet, then it won't end well for me." Masky could practically see Toby's curiosity spike immensely "What's gonna happen if you lose?" Masky shivered, but his voice was cold "My reputation as a pasta will be ruined forever. I'll be the laughing stock of the mansion." Toby looked confused "Why would you do something like this just to maintain your pride?" Masky almost laughed "It's easy for you to say Rodgers. You have no pride left." Toby shrugged nonchalantly "True"

They walked until they reached the edge of the forest. Masky continued walking towards the buildings up ahead. He shielded his eyes from the blinding, white, December, sunlight. He heard shuffling and then Toby joined him, his goggles now removed. To be honest, they didn't look all that out of place in the town full of bustling people heavily clad in jackets, sweaters, and coats. A few teenagers even had face masks like Toby's to keep the cold from reaching their faces. They walked until they reached the 2006 ford f 150, which was parked along the side of a supermarket. No one had touched it for weeks, so if no one wanted it then it wasn't technically stealing....right? Masky supposed it didn't really matter anyways. Most of the things in his bag were stolen, but the people he stole them from weren't really in need of those items anymore. Toby climbed into the driver's seat and ripped open one of the lower panels. "...What do you think your doing Rodgers?" "Well, you're heading to the city, right?" Masky climbed up beside him and roughly shoved him to the passenger seat. "You're not driving." Toby whined like a child but eventually settled for staring out the window as the drove down the endless highway.
