I heard a car squeak to a hult outside the house and heard the car drive off. I ran to the window in my lonely room. I noticed Luke lying on the ground in the road.
I then realised that car squealed to a hult because it had run over Luke. I instantly ran, still sobbing desperately, outside and leaned against his chest to see if his heart was still beating. I heard a thump and was reassured that he was still alive. I scoped up his head and rested it in my lap. His eyes slowly opened revelling his mesmerising brown eyes staring up to me.
"L-Luke, are y-you alr-right?" I whispered in between sobs.
"I-" he was inturupted by his swelling coughs.
"Luke... No, you can't die..." I silently cried. It felt like my stomach had been stabbed.
"Call an ambulance..." He croaked in between silent coughs.
I pulled him onto the curb and ran like light to the landline inside my house.
"Help!" I shrieked down the phone.
"Maam I need you to calm down and tell me your problem!" The services proffesionally said down the phone.
"He got hit by a car-" I was inturupted by my crying sobs.
"Can you tell me what your location is and is he breathing?" She talked down the phone to me.
"67 Glenour road and he is still breathing." I said calming down.
"Okay, an ambulance will be on its way." She said reassuring me.
"Thank you!" I said still silently sobbing.
I ran to Luke to find him lying there motionless.
"Luke, wake up! Luke!" I shouted swerving his body around trying to wake him up.
And with that the ambulance arrived.
They collected Luke's body which was still motionless.
"Is he going to be alright?" I asked impatiently.
"I'm not sure. We will call your landline to tell you if he will be okay." He said reassuring me.
"Oh and you might need his mums number." I quickly wrote it down on a piece of paper and handed it to him.
"Have you told his mother about this?" He questioned. Oh fuck!
"No but-" he inturupted me.
"We will ring her for you." He slammed the ambulance door leaving me sobbing on the curb.
The ambulance finally disappeared around the corner. I stumbled back I side and paced back and forth waiting for that fucking landline to ring. I was getting impatient and it was noon now.
Why wasn't it fucking ringing? Those bitches shouldn't take that long to see if he is still shitting alive! Fuck! I sat looking menassinglly at the phone. Then suddenly the phone began to ring.
"Hello?" I sounded confused.
"Umm, this is the Melbourne hospital. I'm calling you about a recent patient by the name Luke Anthony Brooks."she said unsurely.
"Yes! Is he fucking alive?" I shouted impatiently.
"Well, we have put him on life support." I listened in silence.
"So i-is he gonna l-like d-d-die...?" I stuttered.
"Well, without the life support, yes... You may come down to the hospital for the final news..." And with that she hung up.
At the hospital

I walked up to the reception.
"Umm, I'm here to visit Luke Anthony Brooks... To hear the final news..." I whispered.
"This way." She lead me into a small room where Luke lay. A doctor stood there.
"Hello." The doctor firmly shook my hand.
"So what's the news?" I asked impatiently. I was worried about what he was going to say...
