Run Away

Run Melody! Run. Faster, come on faster. I hear a howl behind me and push myself faster. Come on Melody. Faster for God's sake faster. Boom. I feel a huge weight hitting me and I fly into a tree. The world goes fuzzy and I shake my head. I start to run again. Why me? Why why why why. Why us? Why did they have to attack our pack? It's a small pack. Not the most powerful but still known.

I feel a wolf tackle me and I can tell it's the packs alpha. Not my packs alpha also known as my amazingly attractive mate, but the other packs alpha. He growls and I growl back not submitting due to my rank in the pack.

  *Earlier that day*

 
"Melody" I hear Aaron call for me.

I run down the stairs and into him. I start to fall and he grabs me pulling me up. Of course he catches me. He told me just yesterday he would never let me fall or get hurt.

"What's up buttercup" I say giggling.

"Tonight we are making you luna of this pack"

"WHAT?!" 

"Tonight we are makin-"

"I heard you jerk. What if i'm not ready for this yet?"

"Too bad baby"

"No"

"Excuse me?"

"Yea no i'm not doing it"

"You will and if you refuse I can very easily make someone else luna of this pack"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me"

I get up and walk out of the house. I hear Aaron following and I turn around lift my hand and punch him right in his stupid nose. As blood begins to trickle down his face he growls at me and I roll my eyes. I continue walking until I walk out his territory. Now I am on Blue Moons territory and I don't care. As the patrol comes around I raise my hands up but oddly enough ice comes blasting out of them. They all freeze and back off. Soon a giant sandy colored wolf comes running and shifts in front of me. This is clearly the Alpha just due to his height and aura. Someone hands him a towel but I remain with the eye contact I hold.

"Who are you?" he asks.

"You sound like the cheshire cat!" I smile.

"Let me try this again, who are you?" he says stepping forward.

"I am Melody hello there mister alpha sir"

"Why are you here rouge?"

"I am not a rouge I am the mate of Aaron"

"Oh"

All of a sudden Aaron comes running up apologizing to the Alpha of the pack. He grabs my arm and drags me away. To piss him off i turn around and wink at the alpha. Aaron growls at me and tightens his grip. I growl and swipe at him with my claws out. He grabs my wrist and nearly snaps it. I cry out and pull away. I glare at him.

"What the fuck is your problem?" he snaps.

"Why don't you go ask the other girl you're going to make luna" I growl out and walk away.

"Mel" he says. 

I keep walking.

"Mel" he says louder.

I take off running and he follows. He tackles me.

"Mel" he says softly.

I push him off and walk into the territory and walk upstairs. I slam the door in his face and lock it. I am there for hours when I hear a scream. Then multiple screams. Then silence. I unlock the door and see a giant wolf standing there. It isn't Aaron either. I slam the door shut and lock it. I run to the window and open it. As I jump out shifting the door breaks down. I land and begin to run. I see a little girl with blond hair screaming as a wolf begins to lunge at her. 

I sprint over and knock the wolf over. I quickly bow for her to climb on. She climbs on and I feel her tears hit my back. She grabs my fur and I run to the safe house. She climbs off and runs inside to her mother. I shift and I hear voices calling for me to come in but wolves are approaching quickly. I slam the door shut and lock it sending the elevator down below the surface so they will be safe.

I shift again and begin to run hearing the thundering of paws following me. They are catching up. And at a very fast rate too.

Due to my size he can come over and grab me by the scruff of my neck. I, like the idiot that I am, don't realize what he is about to do and he grabs me. I yelp and start squirming. He growls and I squirm more. He growls loudly shaking the ground. He drops me and I plop on the floor. He is mind linking and leaves his neck exposed. Right as I lunge for it a wolf comes and knocks me over. I kill this wolf as fast as I can. I lunge again for the alpha and grab him with my jaws. I close them around his neck and he begins to whip me around. I lock my jaw until I taste blood and his skin rips open. He falls whimpering. 

I just took down an alpha! I do a little dance before I feel a heavy force knock me over. Aaron's wolf stands over me. I blink and tilt my head. His wolf makes this weird noise, and I realize he is trying to laugh. I growl and shift. He shifts and starts checking my body. I have cuts all over from running through thickets and bushes and the trees. I have a bite mark on the back of my neck. It hurts a lot. I look over to see the alpha dead.

I killed an alpha...
