walk backwards
let's rewind to the days
where everything was fine
and we were always okay
remember the times
when our laughter was loud
and smiles were all we could say
hold onto the memories
how they looked so bright
no one could've predicted the grey
that crept up the sides
my mind thinks in black and white
the colour left with you
but I can finally breathe
knowing that you'd never been attached to me
