Hi I'm Emily, I'm 15 and I live in Melbourne but there has always been a mystery in my life, why don't I look like my parents? My mom has blue eyes and blonde hair and my dad has brown hair and green eyes, they look nothing like me and I have brown hair and brown eyes. I just feel like they aren't my parents. My parents don't even have any pictures when I was 0-4 years old. I don't know I just feel like there's something my parents are not telling me.

"Emily, come down for dinner!" My mom calls from the kitchen.
"Coming mom!" I say as I close my laptop
You know what's also weird In my life these boys called the Janoskians, 3 of them are brothers and they said that there sister was taken away from them when she was 4, that's weird.
I head down to the kitchen and ask "mom why don't I look nothing like you are dad?"
"We'll we were just blessed with a beautiful child, I love your brown hair and eyes." My mom says
"Okay." I reply as I eat my supper
After supper I decided to do some research, I searched the Janoskians on twitter and click on Jai's profile and I looked through some of his pictures and I found one photo from a long time ago of him and his brothers with another girl that looked quite like them. I just want to find some answers but nobody is any help. I go to bed at 10:30 with many thoughts in my head. Why don't I look at all like my parents? Was I adopted? No.. I couldn't be... They would have told me right?
I wake up to my annoying alarm going off, great it's school, I hate school. I get my shorts on with a baggy sweater. I get to school and my best friends are right by my locker. My best friends are: Amanda, Savannah and Nicole and they are all obsessed with the Janoskians. And they were talking about it while I was opening my locker but I had my headphones still in, as I was grabbing my stuff and Savannah tapped me "Emily are you listening?"
"No." I say as I take out my headphones
"I was saying that you look a lot like Jai and Luke." Savannah says
"Ya she does." Nicole and Amanda agree
"You could be their sister." Nicole says
"No." I reply
"But your always asking why you don't look like your parents and.."
I interrupt "no I wasn't adopted!"
I got angry because I have a very short temper and I stormed off to my first class.
