Confession

It was saturdayーthe day of your date with jungkook.

You were ready.
"Clothes.. Check!"
"Hair.. check!"
"Backpack.. Check!"

Thoughts rushed through your mind as you nervously played with your fingers "What if he hates my clothes?? What if he finds me boring as hell and won't talk to me anymore?? What if it was a prank?? What if he can't come because he finds me annoying orー"  The doorbell interrupted your thoughts. You quickly ran to the door to be greeted by a blushing Jungkook holding a bouquet of rosesーyour favorite flower.

"You look lovely today, just like these flowers." He said with a grin.
It was the first time someone complimented you.
"A-ah Jungkook-Ah you didn't have to but, thank you." You giggled with rosy cheeks and a wide smile.
"So, let's go." He held your hand and dragged you to the amusement park.

After your little date, Jungkook took you to a small garden filled with small flowers and cherry blossom trees. You sat on a bench and admired the beautiful cherry blossom together. He rambled and rambled about his life, his hyungs and about how much he loved being with them.
"Well, i have to go! Thank you so much for today [Y/N]." He suddenly bowed and hugged you. You blushed at the sweet gesture and replied with a bright smile and a small blush "I had fun too, hope we can go out again someday."

Five months passed in a blink of an eye, you and Jungkook were best friends, he always walked you home and ate lunch with you. Of course you were happy and quite comfortable with him. But you have also realized that you've fallen in love with his kindness, his company and him.

It was a Saturday, Jungkook invited you his house to study for an upcoming exam.
You and Jungkook were in his room writing some notes on your textbook until you suddenly started feeling sleepy "why did i have to stay up late reading yesterday night??" "I feel thirsty, do you want something to drink?" Jungkook asked you as he got up from his seat "Hm? No thanks" you said. He smiled and said with a little nod: "As you wish." He then left the room closing the door behind him. You watched him leave and kept staring at the door, trying as hard as possible to keep your eyes open.
"Ah i can't take it anymoreー" You fell asleep on his desk and went to Dream Land.
Jungkook opened the door to find you sleeping peacefully on his desk "Eh?? Why is she asleep, she seemed fine just five minutes ago." He thought with a confused face.
You suddenly felt a hand run through your hair but shrugged the feeling away.
You weren't completely sleeping, you could still hear Jungkook rambling about that equation he didn't understand all while caressing your soft [H/C] hair.
"Aah, [Y/N], tell me what to do?~(shinee reference u v u )" Hearing him say your name always made your heart skip a beatー
"I want to confess to you so bad...But i'm afraid of being rejected." You felt your heart speed up "He actually likes me back?? "
"I love you [Y/N]... please return my feelings, if only you were awake." He whispered.
"What should i do?? Should i wake up or not??" And before you knew it, you opened your eyes, faced him and firmly declared: "I- I feel the same way Jungkook!" After the time it took you to realize what you had just said, you became a total blushing mess and hurriedly covered your face with the palms of your hands "where did this courage come from????"

"W-were you awake the whole time??" Jungkook stuttered ; he was also a blushing mess and embarrassed.
"K-kind of."
"So... [Y/N] w-will you be my girlfriend?" He asked as he gently removed your hands and looked deeply into your eyes.
Your eyes softened as you studied his face, how his eyes were sparkling in anticipation, how his lips softly curled up to form that small adorable smile of his.
"Yes, I would love to, Jungkook." You whispered as you hugged him tight.
