"There it is!!" Val shouts, the rest of the group were climbing back inside the truck."everyone ok?" I ask whilst glancing at the head mirror."yh" they all say in sync. We park next to the swimming stadium and run whilst we are running I fell the ground errupt we run even faster tobthe stadium there were a few people already there holding in to the barriers. This stadium splits into four sections when ever there is an earthquake. We jump onto one of the sections and we AIT down and are backs against the wall. I hear buildings collapsing and death screams in the distance as I could fell them panicing. Val at me and says "we are going to survive. And i'll promise u u will survive." I look at her and I reply "yes we are" as I take her and i rub it with my thumb. Grayson,Halle and Nyah all look at each other and smile with tears..." I love u all." She says... Now the world feels like its going to fall apart.I look up at the sky and the sky is turning grey and I look at my brother giving him head gestures telling him to tell the girls we need to leave. He nods and turns to the girls and says "we have to I don't think this building is going to hold any longer... Let's go now!!"
"But first we need to head to the gas station to re fill and get more food since we ate everything else because we have to go to the country side ... That's the best place to go at the moment.
A few mins later
We arrive at the case station and Vanessa and I fill up the car. Grayson and Halle are getting some more anacks ... Nyah however is in the car she's shook,she's scare and she's cold.
I look at Vanessa and tell her " I love u and I always have but I don't think u like me in That way." I say as I bite my bottom lip.
"What are u talking about I've loved u since I've met u, we met 2months ago.before the infection started." She say with innocents.
"Oh I've never noticed?" I ask
"Ethan that's cuz I'm a shy person I don't really like showing my emotions to people I have met u know what I mean." She says
"Yh I get u but can I ask u one question ?" I ask
"Yh sure" she. Answers as she giggles
"Ccc-an yy-ou be my gggg-irl fri-" I say she interrupts me by cupping my cheeks she kisses me and I kiss back she gives me a passionate kiss her lips were soft.
"I'll take that as a yes?" I smirk
"Yes!" She says in excitment.
