*NEXT DAY*

VICS POV:

Today was school and I was a nervous train wreck. I thankfully didn't have to worry about outfits and trying to look good because we needed to wear uniforms. I threw a sweater over the light blue t-shirt though.

The ride to school wasn't very interesting. It was mostly me fanboying silently about Kellins car while listening to music. I didn't even expect Kellin to have a car. I thought his parents wouldn't allow him. Plus, I didn't know they had that much money. But having a car was just small. The type of car he had blew my mind.

He had a porsche 356b in the color black. It was a beautiful car, it matched his outfit too. It was a vintage style car and he was dressed in our school uniform but with a thrift store leather jacket thrown over it and some classic black shoes.

"We're here..." he told us and we all got out of the car, "C'mon, we gotta go get your schedules."

Mike and I followed Kellin into the school. It was filled with the smell of axe body spray and expensive perfume.

When we got to the office, there was a lady sitting at the front desk. Kellin talked to her for a while before coming back to Mike and I. He gave us our schedules but when we got them, we realized that Kellin had marked the classes we had with him.

"Okay, so class starts in about fifteen minutes. I'm gonna go meet up with my friends, you can come with if you want. Or you can just wander around for a bit," Kellin told us and we nodded.

Mike went off with Kellin but I didn't want to be surrounded by anyone right now. I wandered in the school, learning my way around. The school overall seems very nice. The hallways consisted of clean, shiny metal lockers and the lights weren't too bright nor too dimmed.

But... although the school was nice, the kids weren't. I learned this soon after wandering when I was pinned to a wall. My head hurt and it seemed as if the world was spinning around me but that was over with within a minute or so.

"Who are you?" I heard once I gained focus.

I stood silent.

These kids looked so much taller and stronger than me. I could easily be sent to the hospital with one hit. So I decided that I would be better off not arguing or fighting back because that'll make this whole situation worse.

"New kid... ahhh, well that should make this easier," the second one chuckled.

I gulped, but didn't say anything.

"This means since your new, we get to mess with you all we want," the one who was pinning me down said.

"And since he's with me, you're gonna let him go," I heard a familiar voice chime in.

"Quinn?" the guy let go of me.

"Yep, now leave him alone. Go mess with someone else," Kellin growled.

The two guys rolled their eyes, followed with a chuckle. They then walked off, leaving me with Kellin who was standing there, shaking his head.

"Don't let them do that to you," Kellin told me sternly.

I didn't say anything, I just straightened out my shirt.

"Steer clear of them. They're assholes who just want something to do to entertain them. Don't give them anything to work with from here on out," Kellins told me a bit harshly which made me feel a bit bad for not standing up for myself.

The rest of the day at school was long, I didn't seem to get along with many of the kids there. They knew I didn't have as much money as them and they knew that technically I was living with Kellin due to me being a foster kid.

I don't understand how Mike got along with them. They don't say anything to him about that stuff.... Maybe because he's been hanging with Kellin? Most likely. People seem to be very intimidated by Kellin for some off reason. Even the very strong and muscular guys were scared of him. And compared to them, Kellin looked like a twig.

"C'mon," I felt a nudge behind me as I heard Kellin's voice.

Kellin, Mike and I all got into Kellin's car. He seemed kind of pissed about something and eager to get home so I just decided not to hold him up. When Kellin was driving I could see he was gripping the wheel tightly. He was going to burst at any moment and I didn't want it to be at Mike or myself. Mike knew better than to say something to Kellin though, so I trusted that he'd be good. I... Well I just know better than to talk to anyone for that matter so I did what I always do, I stay silent.

"Those fucking Christmas lights are annoying. It's to many colors at once," Kellin muttered as we passed houses with Christmas decorations.

We soon got home and got out the car. I opened the door, steping into the house first and went to my room. Kellin's parents weren't home for the holidays which kind of sucked. They were bad parents sure, but it wouldn't kill them to spend some time with their kid on Christmas.

I heard a knock on my door as I was thinking. I got up and opened it, revealing Kellin. He still looked a bit angry but not as much as before.

"Hey," he finally spoke to me.

"Can I ask you a question?" he asked and I nodded, "Why don't you speak?"

I was taken back by that question. It was kind of a personal story, only Mike knows why. I didn't feel like Kellin would ask me but I was obviously wrong. He waited for an answer like I was going to speak but then he let out a sigh.

"I honestly don't even know why I asked, that was stupid of me," he chuckled sadly.

He turned away and went to his room. I wanted to go and follow him and tell him that it wasn't stupid. In fact I was very tempted to but then all of a sudden I heard constant banging sounds from the wall of his room. He was definitely doing something that I didn't want to know of, but I had no choice.

So like the idiot I am, I went to his room...
