~ Rascal's P.O.V. ~
No, i lost her! I lost Carrie!
She went so fast, I couldn't go after her..
Come on Racal, Think! What would Carrie do? What would she do when something like this happened?, I thought.
I know Carrie, & she likes to be in calm & silent places.
Maybe if I climbed up a tree, I would see where she is! That's it!
So, I climbed up the nearest tree & looked around for Carrie. & that's when I saw her.
Not that far from where i am, I barely see the purple & pink blur near a little lake. "Carrie..." I whispered.
I then instantly climbed back down & ran to where Carrie is. I went behind a tree, watching her.
She was just sitting there, one hand hugging her knees & the other hand holding the pink & black jacket she always wears.
I stayed there, silently watching. I could barely see the tears in her eyes because her hair was covering her face. I then hear her sigh.
"I.. i know you're here, R-Rascal.." she muttered. I then slowly went to sit beside Carrie, but she faced the other way.
"Danny.. he, didn't mean that, you know.." I say.
"I-i know, i-it's j-just.." she let out a strangled sob. "I-i j-just, can't! I-i-"
"Look, it's okay.." i put my paw on her hand & looked at her.
"I know how you feel, i was always being treated like i was nothing by my, 'pack'." I say. "& if it weren't for you, I would've been dead by now. You're not trash, Carrie. You're the greatest thing i have ever known in my whole life!" I exclaimed.
"Heh.. t-thanks." She says, blushing a bit. "No problem." I replied, smiling.
I stand up. "We should go back now. Benji & the others are probably trying to find us." I say. Carrie nods. She stands up, & tied her jacket around her waist.
We then walked back to the shelter. Sarah was the first one to notice us.
"Rascal! &, C-Carrie?!" "Y-yeah.." Carrie says. "A-are you okay? Sorry about Danny, he-" "I'm, fine. Really." She says.
"Uh, okay.. if you say so.." Sarah muttered.
