Chapter 4
Shenpai
I can feel Brad's eyes burning into my back. I know he is looking. He knows that I have to come back to the room at some point.
But apparently he isn't waiting. "Shen! Please I-"
"Go away."
"Look, I'm s-"
"I thought we were real."
"I di-"
"Just go."
"F- Fine."
And he does.

I regret that. Completely. I can't believe that I threw it away just to feed the fucking meme.
Hopefully she'll listen to me when she gets back to the room.
2 Hours Later
I look down at the pool again. She's still there. I decide to go down again. On the way I bump into Tyrodin, who tells me the video got 100,000 views. I ignore him and keep going.
I was about to round the corner when I saw Shen, still in tears, climbing up the stairs. I decide to leave her alone for a while before approaching her, and end up sleeping on Muselk's couch at just 4 pm.
Next Day
I was heading to the first floor to get breakfast when I saw two people in the lobby. Shen and some other guy. He was talking to her and I could hear him asking why she was in tears. Again. He grabbed her arm and started to take her with him, and here I decided to intervene. "If you be so kind as to let go of her, that would be great."
"Stupid kid. Who do you think you are?"
"I think she has plans to go to a gaming convention, not into some creepy guy's hotel room. That is true, isn't it Shen? Today we have to get to Blizzcon."
"Uh, yeah, let's go."
She followed me and we walked silently upstairs. We walked into our room. "Okay, can we please just talk?" I beg her.
"Fine."
"We were real. I'm sorry. I was being stupid and put a fucking meme before you. Please, I love you."
Shen goes quiet for a moment. Then she throws her arms around me. I lean in and let my lips press against hers. We are locked in the embrace for a few seconds until she pulls away. "I love you too, Brady-Chan."
