Jay and Cher woke up in the damp grass. The darkness was enclosing. All they could hear was the monotonous sound of the crickets. They got up and looked at the shadowy forests wondering what had brought them there. The last thing they remembered was running from their cottage, which was bursting with flames. Jay had to run back into to their house to grab his sister Cher who had tripped on the cobblestone flooring. Jay and his sister looked very different despite their relations. Jay had hair as dark as a starless night and eyes that were a brown velvet. Cher stood 5 inches shorter even though she was nearly a year younger than him. Her eyes were colored like the lake they had swam in when she was twelve, that was four years ago. Her hair was light brown and wavy.
"I think we must have ran into this place while we were escaping," Jay thought out loud.
Now they stood alone in a dark Forest unsure of what would come next.
