it's over

Adrien's P.O.V

I walk down the street and wait for my Princess to come so we can walk together. I peer back to the school, and catch a glimpse of red hair. Plagg flies out of my jacket pocket.

"We should get a closer look at what he's doing. Something's fishy." He says. I nod.

"Plagg, claws out!" 

I jump from roof to roof and follow Nathaniel as he walks down the street, looking behind him a lot. He reaches Marinette, and I decide to detransform for less suspicion. Nathaniel grabs Marinette by the waist, pushes her against the wall, and kisses her.

That filthy tomato headed girlfriend kisser! 

I'm about to come out and rage at him, when I see Marinette, MY princess, tilt her head in compliance.

"Princess...?" I say in disbelief. Marinette snaps her head towards me and immediately shoves Nathaniel off of her. Tears leak out of my eyes. I turn on my heel and run as fast as I can down the street, any way I can get away from them.

"Adrien wait!" I hear Marinette yell, but there's no stopping me now.

Marinette's P.O.V

I watch as Adrein, the boy I love, run down the street because of something I did. I turn to Nathaniel and slap him as hard as I can.

"I hate you! I never want to see you ever again!" A look of pure remorse splashes across his face, his cheek growing red where my hand was. I run after Adrien as fast as I can, but in the big city of Paris, I'm never going to find him. Reluctantly, I walk back to the bakery, and see an ambulance at the front of the school.

I sprint over to the school, begging to myself that Adrien isn't the one in that ambulance. When I get there, I see Chloe in her wheelchair, laughing maniacly, being rolled into the ambulance.

"What happened?" I ask a paramedic.

"She's suffered severe trauma, and will never be able to cope with society again. She is being sent to a mental facility to recover." She answers. Chloe's eyes land on me, and her entire aura grows dark.

"You." She snarls. A paramedic pushes me away.

"I'll kill you when I get out! This is all, your fault!" Chloe screams, being driven off. Horror crosses  me at the thought of that. Had Chloe actually gone insane? Suddenly, a flashback comes to me.

I know the future. The voice says.

"Tell me then." I answer aloud.

An enemy will go insane, and your mistake will cost you the love of someone you hold dearest. I have the power to do anything, so if anything irregular happens, it's my fault. The one you love the most will never forgive you for what you did. Think carefully about your actions, or it will cost you dearly Marinette.

"How do you know all this?" I ask. The voice chuckles.

I control it all. 

Was the voice right? Chloe is in this state because of a freak accident that couldn't be explained. Then she went insane. And just today I made the biggest mistake ever by kissing Nathaniel. Does that mean that, Adrien will never forgive me? I run up to my room and dial his number. 

"What?" He answers cruelly.

"You don't understand what happened. Nathaniel he-." 

"I know exactly what happened." He cuts me off. "How long have you and Nathaniel been a thing?" He asks.

"Kitty there was nothing going on!" I yell, starting to cry.

"Don't call me that. Your lying to me!" He screams on the other line. 

"I'm not lying I swear!" 

"What else? Is there anything else you've been keeping secret from me?" He roars.

"I- I'm ladybug." I say quietly. An uncomfortable silence comes from the other line.

"Do you even love me? Have you ever loved me?" He asks.

"What are you talking about of course I have, and I still do I just made a mistake!" I say, gulping.

"Well if you can't be honest with me I guess I can't be with you." He says.

"Adrien-" I start

"Good bye Marinette." He says as the largest ne goes dead. I just sit there on the wall, crying with my hand over my mouth and tears streaming out of my eyes, my phone still at my ear. Suddenly I throw my phone across the room and scream, curling up into a ball. 

Adrian's P.O.V

I sit against the wall wiping silent tears away. I can't believe she could do this to me. I just sit there, not moving, barely breathing. I don't think I even want to breath.

One month later

I walk through the halls silently, alone, just roaming. Nino stopped trying to get me to snap out of it, and eventually just stopped talking to me. I rarely ever saw him, or Alya, or Marinette. My mind was blank the entire class, and when the bell rings, I walk out of class and outside to wait for gorilla to pick me up. Someone walks next to me. I look over to see Marinette.

"Yes?" I say. She just stares at me.

"I keep telling you nothing ever happened between me and Nathaniel." She says. I look away from her.

"Still lying aren't you." I say.

"I'm not lying!" She screams. "I swear on my heart that NOTHING HAPPENED."

"Even if you were telling the truth, I don't know how I'll ever forgive you for what you did. Don't talk to me." I say, walking away from her. From the corner of my eye I see her slump down on the ground and bury her face in her hands. I feel a pang of guilt, until I remember what she did to me.

No. I'll never forgive her.

A/N: Hejjo people's! Sorry it's been so long since I last updated, I kinda broke my computer and couldn't go on wattpad for a while. Sorry for such a depressing chapter, leave comments on what you thought.
