Adrien's P.O.V

As the days grew colder once again, Lila started getting comfortable. She thought I would come running back to Marinette, but I refused every time. She came over every day. I was used to her being clingy.

"Hey Adrien!" She greets kissing my cheek.

"Hey Lila." I reply.  She follows me inside and picks out a movie from my rack.

The Twilight: eclipse 

"I love this movie!" Lila says. I freeze in my spot.

"That's my mom's. She thinks it's good, but I think it's trash" Marinette says.

I look at Lila intently. The only reason I even had that movie is because it was a reminder of Marinette. I must have never thrown it out.

"Sure, let's watch." I say. Lila pops the disc in and we settle down. I watch it with Lila, but t feels like I'm not even there.  All I think of are the comments of how stupid the movie is from Marinette. It makes me realize that I still have feelings for her. The movie ends.

"Lila, we need to talk." I say. Lila looks over at me.

"Yes?" She asks.

"This isn't working out." I say. Lila's face goes from a smile to a frown in three seconds.

"You said that wouldn't happen. You promised me Adrien!" She screams. I nod.

"I'm sorry. I just, I need some time to think." I say. Lila gets up and shuffles angrily over to the door.

"Think all you want Adrien! Jerk!" She screams, and slams the door.

I sit there for a few minutes, thinking. 

got it.

I walk out the door and get in my car. I drive and drive, and four hours have passed before I reach my destination.

Paris Insane Asylum.

I park and walk into the building. A woman sits quietly at a desk. She looks up and smiles at me as I walk up to her.

"Hello young man, is there a patient that you would like to visit?" I nod at her.

"Chloe Bourgeois."

The woman nods and leads me down a maze of hallways and to a door in the middle of a wall.

"There's someone hear to see you Chloe." She says in a singsong voice.

I walk in to see Chloe, practically twitching in her wheel chair. 

"What?" She asks.

"Chloe why were you so mean to Marinette?" I ask.

"Who?" She asks.

"Can you see me?" I ask.

"No, Who are you?" Chloe looks confused for a second. She's blind.

"Why did you do it?"

"Do what?" She asks. Suddenly Chloe's face goes dark, as if she doesn't even remember I'm there.

"You're the one who caused me so much pain!!!!! You did this to me!!!!! I'll kill you!!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!" Chloe laughs maniacally. 

"Be nice to the ones you love. Always fight for them." Chloe says calmly, before going back to laughing.

I will Chloe. I will. 

Marinette's P.O.V

All day every day I thought about him. I didn't want to break his heart, but we both ended up being hurt in the end. Outside, thunder boomed as it continued to pour. I made a terrible mistake in letting him go. He's worth the pain.

I grab an umbrella and run outside. A car pulls up onto the curb and Adrien gets out.

"Adrien I-" I start. We stare at each other.

"I was about to see you."

Adrien's already soaked with water.

"Someone told me to be nice to the ones I love." He says. Adrien takes a step towards me.

"Marinette I love you." 

I thrust my arm out and smile at him.

"Take it." Adrien grabs the umbrella from my hand and pulls me close.

"I love you too Adrien." I whisper. The umbrella is yanked out of his hand from wind, exposing both of us to the rain, drenching us.

I wrap my arms around his neck, his around my waist.Water drips from my hair into my eyes, clouding my vision, but I've never seen so clearly.

I love this boy.

Adrien leans forward and kisses me.

The only sounds I hear are those of our closest friends and family cheering for us as we break apart. I look over to Nino, the best man, wiping away a tear, and Alya, the maid of honor, pregnant and all, completely sobbing. Already married of course. They were the ones who always picked on us, since we waited so long to get married, both of us twenty seven, when they were married at twenty three. 

"Time for cake everyone!" Adrien calls. I look over at him, and he smiles at me with those green eyes. 

I love this boy.
