"I don't understand how this is my fault, mom!" Allie said to her mom as she threw Allie's clothes in to a duffle bag.
"Allie I don't have time to explain. We're leaving now."
She gasped confused, "Mom, I can't leave, what about Clint? I can't leave him."
"Baby," she stopped what she was doing to look at her daughter. "This is just puppy love, you'll forget about him eventually."
"How could you say that!" Allie stared appalled at what her mother was saying, "He means way more to me than that. He's....."
"He's what?!?"
"He's my mate," a look of horror cam across her face. "That's what he calls me mom and he can do things that others can't."
Her mom shook her head frantically, "No, he can't be."
"Mom what's wrong," Allie said coming towards her. "What are you talking about?"
"He's a werewolf? How could you do that to this family, Allie!"
